Just got to the scene in my Raven Boys re-read where incorporeal Noah is writing “murdered” on his car over and over. Then Ronan silently walks over and writes “remembered.”

Not Gansey who loves Noah so much he made him a central pillar of his life.

Not Adam who deeply understands the fear of being forgotten.

Not Blue who has only known Noah for a hot second but is already completely devoted to him.

But Ronan. Who knows grief so thoroughly. Who pays attention and remembers. Who loves Noah but just doesn’t show it in typical ways. Who live never let the memory of his friend go.

blue means so much to me as a character. i love blue. i love that she knits her own clothes, that she's vain, that she wants to do something more with her life, i love that even though she is destined to kill the love of her life with a kiss---she still decides to take her fate into her own hands. (and it doesnt work, either way, but i love her for trying.)
