I’ve been a fan of the band itself all my life but only recently did I start making fancontent actively and engaging in the fandom. It’s a very exciting period rn, I think it’s a super good time to join! They’re about to release a new album early next year so we’re getting new content, new music, everyone is buzzed! I can’t recall a time during ow2’s entire run so far where we as fans were live reacting to an update on twitter like we did when they updated the studio exploration site (they have a point-and-click website where you can explore the band’s studio!!).

You definitely have heard of them, they’ve made timeless classic singles but there’s lore for the bandmembers that you can engage with! There’s YEARS worth of content you can dig into if you’re a new fan or, if you’re returning, you’re getting new stuff! Fans are active, the band ITSELF is active, people are creating fanart, animations (they got added to fortnite recently hahaha guess which game I replaced ow with xdd), engaging in headcanons/discussions. Also I feel like alot of the fans are adults (mostly on twitter, that’s where I’ve been hanging out on, tiktok has more kids so that’s a rougher platform) which made it a mature and nice experience for me so far! I felt very welcomed and people are kind to me.

Sorry for gushing a bit but I’m genuinely so passionate about this, I love the music and I love the characters. Even if you end up not joining, please give their music a listen! You won’t be disappointed!

Literally 0 reason for his mythic to be Hazard on ozempic when he has no ties to the Phreaks. It’s a “let’s get it over with” design because why are they using Phreaks aesthetic if not because it’s easy and doesn’t require much? Not to mention the midseason release, they literally just wanted Junkrat to be done. Also the 0 effort tiers lmaooo.

The thing is, I would probably be upset or disappointed about this skin if I still cared about this shitty ass game. I have accepted that this game is not for me anymore and it wasn’t doing me any good hanging onto what I used to love about it because I’d just have to watch them destroy it further. I should have quit when they released that disastrous short story collection where they straight up character assasinated Hog n Rat. Resentment was eating me up so bad I genuinely struggled to like the game itself. So I uninstalled and unfollowed many ow stuff to move on. I’ve been doing much better, I’m in a fandom that’s actually active and full of talented kind ppl. I was taken aback that I can finally consume fancontent because I was so used to the dead and dry ow fandom. I could count on one hand how many junker artists I saw posting, it was making me incredibly bored which affected my creativity greatly. Can’t imagine how dead the fandom is for even less popular characters…

So yeah, kinda turned this reply into a status update but this is how it is. Idk if I’ll ever be active on this blog, maybe if I rebranded it to my regular sfw site. Idk for sure. I do thank you people for enjoying and following! Even if I was hating the canon and the game, I love Junkrat and Roadhog, all my drawings were made with love and all my effort 🙇❤️ Thanks for everything ❤️🐴
