So you’ve been gone for 4 years. What kind of art/job are you doing now?! What’s your favorite thing to doodle in your spare time now?
So I now work as a junior concept artist (usually characters) for a concept art company.. we mostly work in games 😊
Since I have been gone I don't really read anymore so I haven't done book fanart in ages but I got into BTS so I draw the boys sometimes and also every now and again characters from kdramas/TV shows/films 💜
Have been reading through my ask box for the past half hour and have actually gotten very emotional. I won't be able to respond to them all so I just want to make a general statement about them.
It feels very special to me to read that my art has been an inspiration to people and a comfort to others. I began making fan art and taking art seriously about 10 years ago and I remember feeling the same way about my favourite artists at the time. Making fan art allowed me to get a job, a job that I adore. It was a very significant part of my life, and one that gave me an outlet when I was a student and had a hard time focusing on academics..
All this is to say that I am an adult now, someone who has taken what I started here and on devianart and made a career. Knowing that I may be helping someone like me 10 years ago down the same path... feels like a full circle moment. Thank you for this.

Yeah I had a conversation with a online friend that I made on Devianart probably a decade ago recently and we spoke about missing the community that we had here and it made me nostalgic I guess 🥰
