im actually really happy that may barely spent any time with cate and kentaro for a lot of this season and had her own thing going on. as much as i don’t like them dangling catemay in front of us i feel like black female characters so often just get stuck with being the love interest who’s plot revolves around the main characters so it was nice to see her just existing in her own storyline
