imagine, all the dates you've been going on suddenly cutting you off muttering a small and terrified "sorry uhh i...had something come up" or texting you 'sorry. can't come' or straight up shrieking and sprinting away at the sight of you on the road or in a bar, leaving you with your hand in mid–wave, standing awkwardly

lately you've been feeling like you're being followed. you'd turn around and find nothing. you feel like someone's looking at you through the window of your house, even seeing a shadow forming...but its just the tree and the breeze...

another time when you're on a date, and this douchebag doesn't wanna leave you alone and starts getting all handsy so you have to pry him off and dash towards your home while he whistles from behind for you

and the next day you wake up to a ring on your doorbell and a note stuck on the pavement...

now obviously a rational part of you was scared thinking who was this man? why does he know this? but honestly you were more relieved over the fact that that guy is not gonna disturb you

an idea strikes you that if he was the guy who's been stalking you without any action, why not put him to work? so you start leaving grocery list on the doorstep on a sticky note before leaving for work and then coming back to a bag full of even medicines you were out of on the kitchen counter

he is this close to becoming your maid. he brings you groceries, midnight snacks, meds, household supplies, sometimes even slipping some money inside the bag. but honestly you can't really complain couse you feel like you're becoming rich now that the 'mystery man' has been helping you...but it can't be that guy whom you've been seeing frequently these days right?

note:: obviously pls don't go stalking people you like just talk to them and take a no like a champ. i don't condone this behaviour its satire.

you know what's more intimate? its not kissing every inch of your body, worshipping you or spelling sweet nothings in your ear

its remembering the way you like your coffee, your favourite dress and shoes. its remembering the dream you talked about last week. its remembering something you only said as a passing thought but they remembered. its remembering the gossip you shared a few months ago or the person you talked about last week

and it doesn't have to be romantic, sometimes its platonic sometimes its unconditional and sometimes its familial.

but not for the troublesome trio. you (along with grim), deuce and ace are the infamous tomfoolers of the school. hell probably even sage island. so infamous that when the school is quite without any stuff happening, it gives people shivers

your shenanigans start around 12 o'clock. just after having your lunch. climbing tree in the yard, bitching about crowley cuz he won't increase your wages (yes wage, you're crowley's unofficial and probably illegal worker)

some students would even whisper, "hey...its awfully quite today no?" and all his friends would just facepalm because bro jinxed it and jinxed it bro did because AS SOON AS he said that a blast erupted from alchemy class when...its not even time for classes? dude what are you guys doing in the lab you want Crewel to send you three to the seven themselves?

its a constant headache for Riddle and Trey since riddle has to collar ace, deuce and grim (not you because clear favouritism and you're magicless anyway so whats he gonna take from you? your soul?) and Trey sometimes accompanied by Cater has to bail you three out

Not a day goes by without something or someone breaking. whether its a 1000 year old apple tree (which is prolly fake byt crowley won't admit it) or just some glass vials.

even Azul would "graciously" have to extend a contract which would ensure you three don't cause mischeif. which you obviously vehemently deny cause we all know this guy's upto no good

Kalim, Lilia and Idia have the most fun outta it all. Idia calls you three the "SSR characters with peak team comp" and Lilia just waves it off as "youthful hazards". Kalim honestly doesn't even get whats happening he just grins like the sun incarnate. Leona and Malleus are just nonchalant about this and Sebek, Jack and Epel pretend to not know you guys (traitors i say)

"Someone's gotta keep everyone on their toes!" Ace would try to defend himself but...there's honestly nothing to defend when he was selected as the 'dumbest' of the trio on a poll held on NRC's anonymous page

Honestly you are the only responsible one out of all. even though Deuce tries but fails cause anyone having Ace as their friend is bound to get into a host of trouble. bye bye honour student role lmao

For your calm and serene nature, it came as quite a whipsplash to you when you couldn't tie his thread to the world of dead or guide him to rest. There's always some turmoil inside him which....you couldn't fix no matter what. so you resorted to what you can do best, as his lover, that is giving him internal peace.

you noticed how, early on in your relationship his shoulders were always tensed and how fast his hand would whip to the hilt of his sword even when he was out travelling. you were exasperated at him.

and he was used to distance himself a lot too, often opting to hide or not show his emotions. so you just decided to drop some things about youself in exchange for him opening up to you

you would share how your life was before, your hometown, your friends and family and as you two bonded further and he started warming up to you more, you would tell him how you died. soon in the confines of your room, infront of the fireplace he will tell you his past. the warmth of the fireplace a reminder of what you two lost; families, love and the vigour of life...

it was quite...two people tied to a fate none of you wanted. a death spirit guiding souls yet unable to guide the very one who needed death the most and the one whom you loved

eventually, he started finding his peace again...mostly when you were near

his shoulders would be relaxed, his eyes would hold a gentle gaze and he started to sleep better often. he started to become more comfortable around the stellaron hunters too and you would jokingly call him 'girl dad' with the way he cooked food for silver wolf and drove firefly to her destination

every member of the stellaron hunter treated you as a family too. you were the one who brought peace to Blade and they couldn't be more thankful for letting you help him find what he lost

you take him on walks around the NRC campus and the dorms. to the white sand beach near RSA. buy him lots and lots of toys, food and clothes in foothill town. make sure to never miss a single festival and take him there.

within a few months you had visited scalding sands, sunset savanna, shaftlands, queendom of roses, the coral sea, briar valley and even S.T.Y.X

your first, second and third year friends were a huge help, letting your wish to take grim on a journey across the world come true

and soon a few weeks before graduation...

grim wanted everyone to be here while he only wanted you in your shared bedroom...

you rested his little body underneath the willow tree which you two liked the most. you put sunflowers and forget me nots. at the bottom of the tree near the trunk you placed a tower made of tuna cans. it was a small castle which could snuggly fit his body. it was supposed to be a fun way of recycling after all the tuna he had. you two made it together and it had a photo of you two together inside. it was supposed to be a memento for when you would return to your world...

who would have thought he would be the first one to go? in another life maybe you two will spend a lifetime together
