Truly thinking Helion and LoA are the β€œforbidden love” of this story is hilarious considering:

  • Why would the NC/IC even care?
  • How is that a IC problem considering these books are literally about the Inner Circle (you know, the main characters)
  • Helion literally knows she’s being abused yet fucks off in the other direction lmao

Like, you genuinely cannot be this obtuse. Again, LoA doesn’t even have a name and I’m supposed to believe her and Helion are the ones this is talking about? Y’all need to start being serious here…

Funny how suddenly everyone is on board with the Valkyrie Cycle taking inspiration from Wagner’s Ring Cycle after shitting on Elriels about this for the past 72 hours….

If you didn’t have Elriel theories to poach, what would you talk about?

Not posting the entire anon because I don’t give a shit about what they’re saying but just exposing how Eluciens feel about Elain

They’re actively saying Elain should be locked away with Lucien and she shouldn’t have a choice…

Let’s think about that…

Antis are hung up on "Valkyrie" while Elriels are focused on "Cycle."

Cycle implies a continuous movement. A reoccurring of events, aka history repeating itself. For ACOTAR, that's a cycle of being made and remade.

Three interconnected circles.

The Archesian amulet Bryce wears for protection.

The overall importance of 3s in the series. Three sister peaks. Three sisters and three brothers. The Past. The Present. The Future.

We have the sisters being made. Weapons being made. The enemy being unmade.

The blurb discussed enemies from the past returning. We have the Valg/Daglan/Asteri going realm to realm conquering just to be defeated and moving on to the next realm to torment. This is the cycle. This is the purpose of the story. Focusing on the Valkyrie (Nesta, Emerie and Gwyn) is shortsighted wish fullfillment and doesn't encompass the entirety of the story being told. Nesta is just one sister. Gwyn is just one Valkyrie. The story is about THREE made sisters and THREE brothers. It's about the cycle and how to stop it.

Koschei tales = 3 brother/wizards marrying 3 sisters

Wagner = forbidden love

Swan lake = koschei' lake

Do the math idk. It is right there.

"Lucien would win the bloodduel because he calmed cassian down! he's powerful!"

Azriel is a bloodthristy illyrian warrior who needs 7 siphons to contain his raw killing power + the shadows hold their own against light power & Rhys compares Az to him, Lucien is nowhere the near the level of The most powerful Hl therefore he isn't close to being as powerful as Azriel.

Lucien isn't winning.

lucien got winded climbing a hill that feyre, a brand new fae, had no problem tackling. it’s hilarious that they think he would stand a chance.

You're telling me we're getting a book inspired by the opera The Ring Cycle/The Valkyrie about forbidden love and a blood duel which leads to the final opera Twilight of the Gods? The same series SJM had planned on Pinterest?

Yes, Elriel endgame, that's very exciting. We're forgetting the most important part.

I really am confused why people always theorise one of the female characters will betray the IC. I’ve seen people say Mor, Elain, Nesta, and now even Amren. When the obvious answer is right there?

Who has switched alliances more than anyone we know?

Who is only in the Night Court because they have something (someone) he wants?

Who has been foreshadowed as not being trustworthy?

What will happen when he finds out he’s not getting what he wants?
