watched the new spiderman! it was really good!! i really like how it doesnt have the typical marvel joke joke joke lighthearted energy everything has to be silly vibes that so many marvel movies have. like not every single scene in this movie was super duper serious but the movie on a whole had a much more serious tone than other marvel movies and the other spiderman movies in my opinion! i LOVE sadie as jean!! i really like how different this version of her is to the other jeans we've seen in the x men movies. the stuff with mj and ned was soooooo good !!! i really loved the scene where mj rejects peter (an oversimplification but i digress) and i loved it because shes not framed as like 'the bad guy' for not being in love with him. i was a bit worried about how they would do that but i gotta say i think they handled that conversation very well. and him and ned hanging out again!! nerding out and playing with lego like when they were younger. when peter told mj it was the most fun he had in years i genuinely got so fucking sad cus its like ! these are his people !! ned and mj are his people !! and he had nobody in the world. just. yeah.... it was a good movie! i fucking love spiderman!
i thought i was done but ive decided im not. the scene with peter and jean in the damage control room!! was so fucking good!! her peak into his head seeing his memories and connecting with him because of their shared pain and being able to see that she isnt alone!!!!! peter taking a bullet for her ??? yeah!! and her making sure that he doesnt die for DAYS !!!! that was good shit! and also going back a bit the hulk fight was a bit like. cameo-y, which i didnt love, but i will say that it makes sense in the context and i like that we had actual bruce banner in the movie for a moment and it wasnt all a big hulk giant stupid joke. when jean was pretending to be mj holy shit. like her dialogue during that scene was so fucking cold. yeah. yeah. this movie was very good. i gave it 4.5 stars cus.. what can i say i just fucking love spiderman
