Small Ships Summer: for the OT3 theme, an old favorite with Arisa/Saki/Tohru from Fruits Basket.
On the surface, they're so different from each other in style and personalities but they work and play off each others so well! The backstories of how they met are lovely and get me right in the heart with each re-read. Deeply heartwarming connections and shared experiences.
They're just really funny and sweet together, in the way they care for each other and how their interactions go, sometimes super silly but also thoughtful about the needs and happiness of the others in that trio.

talking about stuff like prison reform or the SO registry really quickly makes you realize how many peoples political ideology boils down to "look, just tell me who the bad people are so I know who we should be killing."
and this is not unique to one side of the political spectrum btw. right or left, authoritarian or anarchist, all are susceptible to the rhetoric of "who is the acceptable target?"
don';t ever explore your emotions through fiction this shit is scary
