Palestinians gathered for a mass funeral of more than 100 bodies finally recovered from a deadly Israeli strike in Gaza in 2023. More than 300 people were killed on Nov. 22, 2023, weeks into the war with Hamas, when warplanes flattened a residential block in Gaza City’s Sabra neighborhood.
With sad, tear-filled eyes, we watch this catastrophic event unfold. It could have been me, or one or all of my family members, as it happened not far from where we lived.
My sister Maryam told me “I envy those who were martyred. At least they found rest from this cruel world”
It broke my heart to hear a 10-year-old say these words. No child should ever feel that death is preferable to life.
After losing everything our home, our entire neighborhood, our belongings and our savings we are barely making it from one month to the next, struggling to survive in this tent, living in these unhealthy and harsh conditions that have caused us so many health problems.

It doesn't get said enough: it's absolutely crazy how bad so many games, especially games with character customisation, are at 'doing' black skin. yeah I don't think we need to be this bad at this. I think it's probably not too hard to do better here. I'm not even talking about black hair (another failing) like it's skin tone mate it cannot possibly be such an impossibility.
