Robbers break into Shane and Ilya’s home when they’re on a road trip. Of course, they take the safe thinking money or other valuables are in it. When they get the safe back to their hideout, the manage to crack it open but are disappointed when they open it and it’s just a bunch of DVDs in plastic cases. They decided to watch one, because why the hell not. They’re expecting a silly little family video, maybe a birthday party or vacation. They did not expect to see a naked, tied up and blindfolded Ilya Rozanov with an equally naked Shane Hollander pouring what looked like hot wax on Ilya’s abs. A week or so later, the safe with all of the DVDs are left on Shane and Ilya’s front step with a note telling them not to worry about them posting anything. They didn’t keep any copies but they did watch all of the videos and they’re very hot. They suggest creating an only fans once they retire.
Omega Shane won’t share his heats with Alpha Ilya. Ilya understood why when they were just hooking up, but they’re in a committed relationship now. They’re not married or bonded yet, but he’s Shane’s alpha. He should be helping him through his heats. Instead, Shane is telling him about switching from his suppressants to regular birth control so he can have his heat. Shane is telling Ilya how his parents are going out of town so he’ll go to their house for a few days while Ilya stays at the cottage, but Ilya cuts in and tells Shane that he can help him. Shane looks like he’s considering it, but he quickly pushes that thought away. He declines and before he can give some lame excuse, Ilya storms out of the room.

I’m really excited to see Justice Smith as Harris. He’s an amazing actor and I know he’ll kill it but, as a poc, a part of me can’t help but think this was a set up. They knew everyone would be expecting Harris to be fat and made the black actor the scapegoat. I feel like Jacob knew he didn’t want a fat actor and said “I’ll cast a poc so half of the fandom will be too scared to say anything because they don’t want to be viewed as racist and the other half of the fandom is racist so Justice will take all the heat. Either way, I’m good”
After the tuna melt incident, Svetlana notices that Ilya has been kind of depressed lately so she gets him a One Wish Willow as a gag gift to make him laugh. They laugh and joke about it but after Svetlana leaves, Ilya uses it and wishes for Shane to love him. Nothing happens. Ilya waits for a while but nothing happens, so he calls the number on the box to complain about his wish not coming true but the customer service representative just says “Nothing happened because Shane is already in love with you.” Ilya freaks out because he never mentions Shane’s name during the phone call but also happy because Shane Hollander loves him!
Shane and Ilya have a child that absolutely loves hockey with every fiber of their being but is God awful at it. They don’t have an athletic bone in their body. Shane and Ilya know the only reason their child is on their team is out of respect for them. If the kid didn’t have the two hockey gods as dads, they wouldn’t have been able to peak inside a hockey locker room let along be on a roster. Shane and Ilya are trying to figure out how they’re going to talk to their kid and let them down gently when David comes over and starts talking to them about coaching. David gets them really interested in it. They transition from player to coach’s assistant. Two decades later, they’re hired as the head coach of the Boston raiders and they become the goat head coach.
Scott and Kip are fighting and Carter is worried they’re going to get a divorce so he sits them down to act as a therapist and asks how they can fix this. Kip jokingly says something like “Getting you in out bed would solve most of the issues.” Kip only meant it as a joke but Carter is like “I willing to try if you think that’ll help” and thirty minutes later, Kip riding Carter like his life depends on it while Scott watches with his dick in his hand. Scott cannot believe Kip’s plan worked.
Pop Superstar Ilya (who left Russia years ago and settled in Canada, and is openly bisexual) is on a morning show promoting his new album when he admits (either on purpose or by accident) that the lead single, and current #1 song in the world, was inspired by a male hockey player. The internet is scrambling to figure out who Ilya is talking about. Meanwhile Shane is praying the song is about him and that he might actually have a chance with Ilya.

A few years Post TLG, Montreal players start going missing. The police can’t figure out why these players have seemingly vanished into thin air. They have no leads, no evidence, it’s all dead ends. The city, the organization, the league is on edge. Initially, they were worried this might be an attack on all hockey players but it seemed to be only directed at Montreal. Then, the commissioner goes missing. Vanishing without a trace. Again, the police have no leads and are left hopeless.
Ilya is laying on the couch. Shane is laying on top of his husband as they watch the news story about the missing commissioner. “It’s a good thing JJ is in Boston.” Shane says. JJ left Montreal after his contract was up and signed with Boston.
“Yes, he is safe there. Him and Cliff are having fun. I see their stories,” Ilya says as he rubs circles into Shane’s back. Shane then raises up to look Ilya in the eyes. “Don’t hurt Hayden.”
“What are yo-.”
“Do not hurt Hayden.” Shane repeats. A silent understanding passing between them.
“I’m done. I saved the commissioner for last.”

AU where Cliff and Ilya used to hookup. There were never any romantic feelings. They’re just besties that would occasionally hookup. When Ilya and Shane marry, Cliff makes a joke to Shane about how he has to find him a replacement since he took Ilya. Cliff only meant it as a joke but Shane took it seriously. A few weeks later, Cliff gets this text: “Hey! This is JJ. I got your number from Ilya. Shane said you were looking for a roster replacement😈”
After they hookup for the first time, Cliff sends a thank you text to Shane and promises to get him a gift, and then tells Ilya that JJ is so much better in bed. “I saw God, Ilya. He made me see God.”
“You saw a demon.”
“Whatever it was, I saw it and I liked it. Now, would Shane prefer flowers or a gift basket?”
AU where JJ and Cliff become besties and start exchanging notes on their respective locker rooms. Cliff tells him how Ilya always disappears when they’re in Montreal and JJ talks about Shane vanishing in Boston. The two are nosy so they decide to follow Ilya. JJ picks Cliff up at the hotel and watch as Ilya leaves. They follow behind his cab until they reach the destination. They watch Ilya get out of the car and go to the door. The door opens and they’re shocked to see Shane ushering Ilya in. They talk about it and come to the conclusion that Shane and Ilya are friends but due to the league pushing the rivalry, they can’t be friends publicly. After that day, Cliff tells Ilya about JJ and JJ talks about Cliff with Shane. They hope their friendship will let them see they can be friends out in the open. After Shane and Ilya are outted, JJ and Cliff realized they actually witnessed one of their hookups.
Luca staying with Shane and Ilya for a few days while his place is being fumigated. He’s lying in bed when Hollanov’s sex sounds fill his room. Luca sends a video to the team group chat (the one without Shane and Ilya). It’s of him staring blankly into the camera. In the background, you can clearly hear Ilya moaning loudly. Luca is like ‘I can’t listen to Shane suck Ilya’s soul out of his body for the next 2 days. Can I stay with one of you?’ and Troy is like ‘You can come over and listen to me suck Harris’s soul out of his body’ and the other players respond with similar stuff like ‘You’re welcomed to listen to me fuck my wife’ and Luca remembers he’s a hockey player with money and checks into a hotel.
Ilya has surgery on his shoulder in the off season. The surgery is considered a minor one and everything goes well. He walks up from surgery high as a kite but otherwise fine. Yuna, David, and Shane are talking to Ilya when a nurse walks in. The nurse explains he’s here to examine the small incision and check the stitches but when he tries to pull down the hospital gown, Ilya freaks out and tells him no. “I’m married!” He slurs out. “Happily married!” They try to explain that the nurse is just doing his job but Ilya isn’t having it. Only Shane can undress him so Shane peels back the gown enough for the nurse to look at the stitches. Shane apologizes for Ilya’s outburst but the nurse shrugs them off and says it was actually kind of cute.
After the Centaurs win the cup, they go out partying. A video, posted by an anon account, of Ilya twerking on Shane goes viral. Troy post a video of him twerking on Harris. Bood post a video of him attempting to twerk on his wife and the other Centaurs players follow suit, posting videos of them twerking on their respective partners (or the air if they’re single). Harris briefly updates the Centaurs bio to ‘Twerk Team’.
Omegaverse AU where Shane doesn’t get a chance to run away during tuna melt-gate because Beta Shane and Alpha Ilya accidentally bond on Ilya’s couch. Ilya can no longer play hockey because bonded Alphas can be aggressive and endanger the other players. Shane is worried Ilya will hate him for taking him away from hockey but Ilya isn’t that broken up about it because 1) he gets Shane, 2) he moves to Canada and gets citizenship, 3) he doesn’t have to go back to Russia, and 4) when his family ask him for money, he can rightfully say that he no longer has a job and can’t support them. When they ask about Shane’s money, he tells them he’s beta runs a strict program and he doesn’t have access to any of his money. That’s not true, Shane lets Ilya get whatever he wants because he still feels guilty over the bonding and him being forced out of hockey, but they don’t have to know that.
