if you are shocked and horrified by patricia taxxon's banning and her treatment, the action you can take right now is to ask yourself if there are any other people whose continued harassment and stalking you are, passively or actively, participating in. are you following a drama blog? a drama channel? is there a "fucked up and dangerous" internet creator whose personal life you're deeply aware of, despite their wishes? fucking stop. cut that shit out of your life. block the drama account. unfollow. disengage. it does not matter what they've done (let's be real, what she's done), them being constantly stalked and harassed is not making anything better.
i do hope that this is redundant information for people who are already following me, but i do hope this post is spread enough that the people who need to see it do.
have you guys heard about wizard101 getting hacked the other day. ive never once played the game in my life but whatever happened there is absolutely hilarious
since making this post i have been informed about a few key points of this that i missed:
- KingsIsle claims the person who sent out the hacked messages was actually not an employee
- wizard101 memberships are free to all for the rest of September 2022 as compensation for this event
- lots of people have let me know that i forgot to add one of the funniest parts of all of this:
Fortunes weave went from looking pretty good to looking like ass very quickly tbh
I know the pro-AI and anti-anti-AI people act like it's cringe to point out that this technology makes it faster and easier than ever to spread disinformation, but I think it's bad that Google is allowing people to seamlessly create satellite images of, say, fake bombings
does anybody know how to get out of bed. or be a better person
wow
people who are like "but with universal healthcare you'll have to pay taxes!!! Up to 8%!!!" Are so funny. Like as opposed to the 16% of my gross paycheck that goes to private insurance, that won't cover shit unless i call my insurance company, then my doctor, then my pharmacy, then my doctor again because theyre pretty sure insurance got approved then my insurance company because they didn't get the letter, then my doctor again, then the pharmacy again, and then the copay i still am on the hook for.
