I think season 4 feels fast On Purpose. We are supposed to feel like poppy - we literally just now got used to the formula and suddenly its changing and we're leaving behind everything we know. Of course its sudden and of course its soon. We, like poppy and the other newbies like teddy and tapey, didnt get to spend much time at all in a familiar, stable place. I dont think s4 is "too fast", I think the pacing is meant to put us in the same position as poppy and teddy and tapey and all the others where we are introduced to a new world and a new way of life, only for it to be very quickly taken away. In universe, it has been around 4 or so days since s4 started. We arent missing anything in between, as teddy said, "the game IS fast"

This obviously isnt to say that people cant have their critiques, but i think this is more of a s3 situation where the weirdness is very much intentional and not an issue of poor writing

HES JUST SOME GUY?? hes not a robot nor an invention of mephone. hes ust some guy he is juuust some guy who was hired for a tv show. why does he talk like that why does he act like that why is his name Toilet . like i thoihgt the thing was that part of hte twist is that the characters names are their objects but thats not actually how it works for the rest of their world. like steve cobs naem is just. steve. theres a pun but hes also just named steve. why is toilet toilet did he choose this? did his parents hate him?
