Do you have like an actual dremel or a electric file? A few years back I got an electric file with a charger and while it takes a bit longer to file the nails it's been working really well. Even for my dogs hard nails (gsd), I haven't damaged my own nails on accident yet. I got the nail trimmer from a brand called auroric but I'm not sure if it's available where you are. Was about 20 euro and it's been working well for 4 years now, my old one lasted 7. The bit also doesn't need to be replaced, just cleaned every once in a while.
its an actual dremel i think, it was some $20 cheapo brand i got off chewy like 8 years ago. electric file i'm sure would work neater but tbh i just always am trying to get nails done as fast as possible. it's a skissue i'm 100% sure but i refuse to slow down and be careful 👍
meanwhile I caught my mom feeding her dog grapes the other day
tbh I’m almost 100% sure I fed my childhood dog grapes at some point. however this was in like, 2001 when it was not really widely known and not like we would ever think to search online for info. Nowadays there’s… definitely much less of an excuse.

putting the phrase "do your own research" on a high shelf people should not be allowed to use it anymore. someone replied to my (months-old) comment on a reddit thread where someone was asking about their collie having a seizure, and in my reply i had linked the Washington State University page on MDR1 since they are the labratory that literally discovered the gene and are the foremost experts on it. and this dipshit replied to say "umm actually vets push medications and they're not all safe for MDR1 dogs, do your own research." GIRL THE RESEARCH IS ALREADY DONE I JUST LINKED IT.
my time around internet dog (/pet/insert subject here) forums has been that people get really, really mad when they say something like “X is dangerous and will kill your dog” and then you reply “hey actually X is safe, here’s a link to a scientific study proving so.” they HATE being told not every product in the world will kill their dog, which I find odd.
