i got a couple questions asking what i use to write and how i post so much so before i do my annual poll then disappearance i wanted to break it down so anyone who wants to start posting has a little help even though i barely know.
so i use chattales to physically make the smaus and i pay like $4.99 a month so theres no limit and no watermark!
and personally to write i like to get a loose idea like maybe a personality clash that would be funny like bored nerdjo x bubbly social chair reader or i think of a funny text thread and just assign characters based off the wording and who i’d think would say that and just kinda text myself in my notes app and when i get at least 8 text threads that feel different and have a loose plot i transfer it to chat tales.
sometimes it takes days sometimes it takes a couple hours and theres literally no issue with deleting everything and starting again until you’re happy with it and theres again nothing wrong with scrapping the concept as a whole if you feel like you cant write for that character i love geto, choso, shoko, utahime, nanami and higuruma but i cant get their voices down so i don’t write for them much if at all, for me personally putting out things im not happy with bring down my motivation like my hitman toji x fbi reader didnt do as good as i wanted but i still had a lot of fun writing it while my bsf gojo series did great & my people pleaser x fratkuna did even better but i didn’t enjoy doing them anymore so i stopped and that’s totally okay biggest thing is do whatever makes you happy and keeps you motivated even if it underperforms🫶
and if you feel like you cant come up with anything use your own texts many of my smaus are my own personal texts altered to fit the smau it’s fun and makes it more personal, or scroll through tiktok, listen to music, look at fanarts really anything can help with inspiration if you’re motived but if you’re not motivated don’t force it it’ll just prolong the block and make it harder to come back so take your time🫶

the time i swore i cooked w a long walk inspired jjk plot where its a dystopian world where the government uses personality tests and looks at 18 to decide your soulmate and at 21-25 a group of people are drafted with their soulmate w one other person whos designed to be your biggest trauma no one knows whos who everyone walks 4 days anyone who runs or rebels is shot end of the walk is a hill where each group will be called up one by one two names will be called so if A and B are called ones the trauma for C and ones the soulmate for C the trauma is to keep compliance and form a trauma bond for the two survivors the person assigned to be the traumas really have nothing to do with compatibility to their group they’re decided based off their personality answers so people who are likely to rebel against the system or question it are killed to keep the society under government control so the book would be reader getting drafted with gojo and geto as her pair with characters like yuji, megumi, nobara, shoko and utahime being in it.
