It's not acknowledged enough that Kaeya in combat is actually hella intimidating/scary cus you're up against someone who knows no bounds when it comes to getting what he wants/needs, even if it means using "unorthodox" questionable methods, a sinner who never truly had a faith to begin with, and everything is justified in the end simply because "I got the job done, didn't I?". Plus, other knights' attacks are usually to disarm the enemy by sweeping them off their stance, Kaeya on the other hand, teleports behind a target and swings his blade at the height to behead someone (even if you're not the initial target, anyone within the vicinity isn't safe either, literally a horror movie typa jumpscare) [This difference is highkey kinda metaphorical] [And damn bro, I didn't know beheading someone is required for the ceremony... (joke intended)]
Moreover, his Glacial Waltz ult description "A winsome smile, genial words, and the *merciless hoarfrost* that lies beneath... These are all Kaeya's weapons."
I know hyv prob won't actually do something this cruel and gruesome for genshin but what if the peacock that's missing an eye in Kaeya's constellation is also a foreshadow? What if he pulls a Hua Cheng and extract his own eye for whatever greater power? (Hua Cheng tore out his red eye and placed it into his scimitar, E-ming as a sacrifice to obtain greater power, he did this as a last resort when trying to save a group of humans. This then made him become a supreme ghost king.)

Dainsleif and Kaeya first actual meeting felt like Lan Wangji and Wei Wuxian's first meeting after 13 years
- Lwj recognised Wwx because of the tune Wwx was playing on his flute. This made lwj feel oddly suspicious of this "strange yet so familiar" person as Wwx took the body of Mo Xuanyu to come back after his death 13 years ago. Lwj kept his suspicions and ordered for Wwx to be taken back to Gusu Lan. Wwx was horrified to think that they've got his identity figured out so he was wailing and playing the role of a lunatic that Mo Xuanyu was. (They didn't reveal this 'Mxy' was actually the Yiling Patriach to the other cast until later)
- Dain had his suspicions the time he saw him at the tavern but didn't confront him until Sumeru. Kaeya dodged the conversation and left soon afterwards. I'd highkey like to believe that he was lying and that he does know his family matters, since he was well aware of his clan rules and even kept a snippet. For someone who's supposedly important, why should he be kept in the dark? Right?? Idk...
Plus Wangxian and Dainkae dynamics match... Kinda.. Dainkae to me is like Hualian's bodies but with Wangxian's souls...

I love it when a character who often wears an eyepatch and is rarely seen without one (and is quite almost entirely defined by this characteristic) takes it off to show their more "honest" side.

Moreover, they're canonically more free in their skins. For Kaeya, he wasn't bound by knightly obligations and duties, "He too had thought about lives lived that were not his beneath the bright lights" ; For Hua Cheng, he's not the infamous scary Crimson Rain Sought Flower, the red cladded calamity, he could be someone he never had the chance to be——which was "a young master who decided to go out to play"
Both had a chance to live a different life, although it's temporary and a mere "act" /"performance"
Both childhoods were somewhat tragic too... Kaeya's cus yknow he had to bear the burden of a long gone nation when he had barely grasped the weight of the world whereas Hua Cheng (Hong Hong Er) was seen as bad luck and was bullied for his sole red eye

Everything about Snezhnaya-Khaenri’ah is already so calculated and planned... And the other remaining ones are so powerful and can manage on their own alone. Now why did they place the "unnecessary" burden of being Khaenri’ah's whatever "Last Hope" onto a child?? Centuries of baggage. Highkey what's he gonna do?? It makes me mad already when I'm reminded that despite everything he's still a 4 star with no foreseeable upgrades.
