A WALTZ ALONG A RAZOR'S EDGE
To this day I think Feyre and Cassian got the worst treatment by Sarah no matter what she says in the interviews...we can see it in the books, how they are becoming lesser than, reduced spotlight, shackling them to certain roles, and being stripped of their most admirable traits or those traits given to other characters to make them shine etc
I will say Dorian accepted his magic very quickly. He’s always been level headed, and the briefness of his denial stage is so so refreshing. No whining, no “Oh my god I’m a monster!” No hedging back and forth if he should reveal himself to the people that will definitely kill him for it. It happened, he felt it, he immediately went to “How do I control it so I can conceal it?”
Actually his motivation was “How do I control it incase my little brother inherits the same magic and I can teach him how to hide it?” That speaks so much about him as a person. So so much.
