idk if im being delusional but every legend of apollo throughout the pjo series portrays him winning all his battles through muscles. A huge example is in percy jackson and the greek gods where percy says apollo shot python in one hit then boogied the end but we know that didnt actually happen as stated in apollo's pov. I feel like a lot of his battles were won when he used his brain power (and sometimes sgeer dumb luck). Instead of trying to beat up Orion he drove him mad and then the giant killed himself by trying to kill a scorpion.

Which makes me think apollo painted himself as a himbo bimbo to appear harmless to his dearest dad, cuz every myth of him in actual lore (in which he acts ridiculously smart in) is dumbed down in pjo but is hinted to not be like that in toa. In the illiad apollo was the only god on troy's side to not act stupid and humiliate himself. not even artemis was spared.

Anyways apollo is really smart but acts stupid maybe to not trigger zeus also i think all blonds and blondes are canonically smart in the pjo verse ty for coming to my stupid ted talk.
