𝒹espite being the daughter of one of the most famous people in the world, tony stark, i, rivera rain stark, remain quite the mystery to the public. not for lack of trying on my father's part. when my dad officially got full custody of me upon my mother's death when i was seven years old, he started immediately bringing me to events—some that a seven-year-old certainly shouldn't be attending.

𝒾n the eyes of tony stark, i was going to be the one to continue his legacy. i was meant to be the world's next genius, the new einstein. he imagined me developing technology he couldn't even imagine. well, he's going to have to keep imagining 'cause i did not and will not become the person he—and the world—always expected me to be.

Rivera Rain Stark (born July 4, 2001) is a stark contrast to her genius, billionaire, philanthropist father, Tony Stark. She is far from a genius—barely passing her classes—has absolutely no ambition to follow in his footsteps, and has repeatedly expressed a distaste to her luxurious lifestyle. Something she does have in common with her father, however, is that she loves to play in the media's face.

Tony Stark is not the father everyone believes him to be. He's irrational, unprepared, and unnervingly spontaneous. Those who know him personally wonder how on Earth he managed to raise a 17-year-old on his own, and honestly? River is wondering that herself.

𝒾f you've read my other posts, you probably already have an idea of how i got my powers. still, i'll tell the full story so that everyone has the context.

𝒶s you know, there is a seventh infinity stone that exists in my reality: the end stone. its original home was on endora—what i learned to be my home planet. the thing about the stone and endora is that the planet only survived because of the end stone, due to the stone's ability to neutralize the black hole at the center of endora. this unfortunately led to endora's demise as the stone was stolen by thanos and his goons.

𝒽owever, if you recall, only endorian entities (nature, animals, people) can harness and activate the power of the end stone. and since taking the stone destroyed the planet, every endorian is dead. well... except for one. me.

𝒶t this point, i'd been in the avengers compound on lockdown for three weeks. i didn't have my phone, but that didn't really matter because i wasn't allowed to tell anyone where i was anyway. i couldn't leave the building at all, not even for a stroll in the garden or whatever the fuck. i was losing my mind.

𝓉he only thing keeping me together was my growing friendship with spider-man. he could've (in fact, should've) returned to his duties in korea after bringing me, but he chose to stay and keep me company. i thought it was a dumb idea at first (you're a superhero, you should be out doing superhero things), but i was desperate for someone, anyone.

𝓉here are two sides to my backstory: the one i've known my entire life, then the one i learn is the truth during my stay at the avengers compound. either way, they're both kind of sad, so buckle in folks and let's get right into it—starting with how i grew up and the life i thought was mine.

𝓂y parents died in a car crash when i was just a toddler. i'd barely gotten the chance to know them when they were taken away from me. all i had left of them was a stuffed animal. it's honestly a miracle i even survived, or so the doctors always told me. i was instantly placed in the foster care system. (it's much better in my drs.)

𝓌e'll need to go a little back in time for the context of my first shift. so, at this point in time, i don't know that james is spider-man. to me, he's simply my boyfriend—who's been flaking on me a lot recently with little to no explanation. no matter how much in advance we plan, he still manages to forget about it or simply miss it altogether.

𝓉o be honest, i haven't been too pleased with this behaviour. it gets me thinking to worst. is he seeing someone else? does he just not like me anymore? am i not good enough? i can't take being left in the dark any longer, so i sit him down one night (when i finally get a hold of him) and tell him we need to go on a break. since we're living together, i tell him to pack some things and find somewhere else to stay for the time being. "how long?" he asks desperately.

"𝒾 don't know, james," i say. "just go. please."

Okay, let's do this one last time, yeah? James got bitten by a radioactive spider six months ago and has been South Korea's one and only Spider-Man ever since. The problem is nobody knows who's behind the mask. Not even his girlfriend.

Rivera Rain Edwards is a student at Seoul National University studying biology. Moving to a new country was scary, especially all alone (minus her little brother—but does he really count?), but she met James Chao who'd been living the same situation. The two quickly became friends and one thing led to another, they became a couple. The perfect couple... Right?

my drs are separated into three categories: non-focus, main, and fave. non-focus are the ones that i am not focused on at the moment, they're more on the back burner. then, we have my main drs which are the ones i'm most likely going to post about. these are subject to change. finally, my favourite drs. they may not be my main focus, but they are the ones i love the most. my s/o(s) is/are indicated for each dr.

as i have so many drs, i've decided to make separate master lists to cover each type of dr that i have!! i'm most definitely not going to make posts for every single one of my drs, but i'd love for people to be able to find someone that possibly shares their niche interest lol^^

i have many many many zerobaseone drs because they're my ult group at the moment, and i love them so much ㅠㅠ they are a whole other category from k-pop drs (and its sub-categories) because i've decided i need to live every single possible life i could live in relation to these boys!!!

this category is very vague, but boy do i have many drs that fit this!!! i'll include marvel/mcu, miraculous, and any other type of reality that has something in relation to powers and/or being a hero (or perhaps being in proximity to them.) these are normally very lore and world-building heavy, which makes them even more fun to talk about and script!!

all realities in which i am a k-pop idol—besides my zb1 drs. this includes own group drs, soloist drs, and drs where i am a member of a pre-existing cr group. admittedly, i cut down a lot of my k-pop drs recently. there are chances i bring back some of my old drs, but as i'm focused on other things, i don't want to stress too much about keeping track of all of them.

i can not stress enough how much i despise jkr!!!!! i hate that woman!!!!!! however i am a #victim of harry potter and find so much comfort in hogwarts ㅠㅠ trust there are so many things about the world building that i've changed because that woman truly can't actually write properly.

shifters yearn for fame... kidding obviously not all of us do, but i sure do! it was always my dream as a kid to become an actress and i don't care about manifesting that into this reality—so let me shift to another where that is already preestablished! i have many forms of fame drs other than acting, though.

this includes all realities based on media that don't apply to the categories above. i'm talking books, tv shows, movies, fanfiction, anything really.

finally we have my miscellaneous drs aka the realities that don't fit into any of the other categories above. (i said that twice but whatever) these would include my waiting rooms, better crs, fantasy worlds i created, etc.
