Hello!! Ahhh my dear anon, how I wish this was the case 😭 we would all be so happy!!
Unfortunately it doesn't mean a new season. The short films are were released for Xie Lian and Hua Cheng's birthdays, as well as for the first donghua anniversary as a small celebration and thank you to fans. The films have key scenes animated (looks like we're getting the confession scene for the upcoming short film).
We stay hoping for tgcf donghua season 3 🦋💖 !!!!

And I'm also incredibly grateful - quick story behind this but I paid actual money for this URL (sounds crazy BUT my love for tgcf has always been huge) I saw it not being used and I took a chance and messaged the previous owner - they were SO nice and agreed to selling the URL to me and boom I am now the proud owner of hualian.tumblr.com :')
