i'm so excited to officially open my inprnt shop to the public!! i have 17 pieces available currently, including one that is exclusively available as a print and has never been posted online!

if you have any suggestions for other pieces of mine you'd like to purchase as a print, please let me know and i'll see what i can do! many original files are too small or were lost when my last computer died so i can't promise anything, but if nothing else it might give me ideas for what to create in the future.

oh i have no idea. my strongest belief was the headband up to chapter 5, but now i dont know what to think. that's how i took flowery calling ralsei an "impossibility", the confirmation that there's something unusual and extraordinary about them, and wherever they came from theyre not like any other darkner. it makes me think that ralsei is something that isnt technically supposed to exist within the rules of the prophecy. maybe that's part of why she'd clung to it so hard in the past, like if she drew too much attention to herself or didnt go a good enough job the universe would realize she's an anomaly and... do something about that.

to the surprise of absolutely nobody, it's noelle. not in every aspect but perhaps i relate to the shame of feeling weak and powerless, the pressure to act a certain way to appease people she feels like a burden on. maybe i relate to her desire to take more risks and express herself in a way that fully reflects her heart, but needing somebody else to guide her there because she doesnt have the courage on her own. maybe we even share a history of fawning as a trauma response! maybe we both just watched a lot of video game glitch compilations when we were ten. who's to say

....in practice though i think i might be more like ralsei overall lmao. especially now that she's learned how to be mean on purpose

hiiiii tumblr 👋 it's my birthday today. for my present i want everyone who sees this post to reply with an utdr character who youve never seen me draw, who you would like to see me draw. im probably not gonna do all of them but i want the suggestions in my back pocket as an excuse to have some fun

ive definitely been thinking about it, but i dont want to jump the gun on anything. there's for sure some kind of parallel going on there, both being mages who struggle with respecting their own desires and identity as opposed to everyone else's, and feel trapped by a set path. couldnt tell ya what it means though. ive been seeing the parallels between them since chapter 2, but things have gone in a somewhat different direction than i thought they would since then! it could be something where i really did spot the signs from the beginning, or i was reading too much into the wrong thing and missing the forest for the trees, or it was an intentional misdirect. wont know until it's over.

i really hope noelle actually makes it to castle town next chapter, i want badly to see them interact, see how ralsei reacts to noelle being officially made part of the team. but i have a feeling something is going to go very wrong. either noelle wont want to leave her father's side, or kris will try to sabotage it, or something. generally when you see characters setting up a plan, you know that plan is in some way going to fail, or at least have serious complications. and the way noelle has been kept out of things up to now feels... deliberate, to me. as if somebody doesnt want her to discover the dark world.

oh i love it. it's one of the things that really made flowery click as a character for me because it's the area where he fails the most spectacularly. it's also great because he spends so much time messing with ralsei about their own issues while he's exactly the same way towards asgore but somehow doesnt clock it. "noooo but the lightner I worship to the point of it being really invasive and annoying loves me back for real and me basing my entire existence around pleasing him is a good thing because he deserves it." i love it when characters are really smart about other people but stupid about themselves (relatable).

another thing flowery has in common with ralsei is that he tiptoes on some weird boundaries re: what he represents and is trying to be for asgore, though maybe in a way thats more easily glossed over. yes he is clearly evoking/trying to replace both toriel and rudy, and his interest in asgore is definitely romantic, but he's also definitely jacking aspects/roles from asriel and kris too. a lot of his planned activities together are things that asgore specifically misses doing with his children, next to the obvious facts that he's named/modeled after flowey and is also, yknow, claiming to be human. he does at least encourage the other flowers to try and fill in the role of "asgore's child", which makes me think he might not be totally aware of the fact that he's doing that too. like of course he doesnt want you, man, that's weird.

and yeah i think most of us despised his ass from minute one lol, as ive said it also took me several days to warm up to him. now i really like him and im furious about that. toby keeps making characters that look/sound like the Dumbest Thing Ever to anyone who hasnt played the game and then tricking you into falling in love with them. rude.

i think hometown has a general attitude of "act like nothing is wrong, and nothing will be wrong". dess is long gone, it's best to just move on and not bring her up, because it's such a painful memory. after all, they all saw what happened to asgore because he couldnt let it go. and the police were mostly just for show anyway, maybe they even thought of undyne as something of a nuisance. and kris... kris has always been weird and offputting. the kind of kid you expect to end up either dead or in state custody by their 20s. you can reach out and offer a hand, but only because you know theyre not going to take it. when theyre gone you can still say you tried.

speaking of alphys, it reminds me of how she talks about the bunker. how it's ostensibly something meant to protect the townsfolk in case of disaster, but everyone seems scared of it instead. alphys is new in town, so of course she's out of the loop on something like that, and the only one to bring it up. i dont think there's a full-blown conspiracy going on, but i do think everyone has silently agreed to just not discuss it.

mostly the same, i'd say! even with suselle, even though i was never super passionate about it i did still draw them from time to time, and i always expected they would eventually intrigue me more. i just had to keep waiting. it's not really a surprise so much as an "ah, finally! i knew it would happen one day!"

krusie is probably the most different because it makes me really sad for kris now that it's all but confirmed they have a crush and theyre suffering hardcore about it. like they didnt have enough going on! slightly salved by the fact krusie are married in my tomodachi life file and they have two daughters (i didnt push them to do that, it's just what happened)

kriselle, still my favorite. always knew they had murder-suicide vibes. i put "we both go down together" (which is a song that ends with two lovers throwing themselves into the ocean) on my first kriselle playlist in 2021. my understanding of both of them as characters has of course changed over the years, but through every iteration theyve consistently stayed the most fun pairing to play around with and make art of.

and at this point im pretty convinced that krusielle is endgame in some form or another, just based on like, foreshadowing and themes. i dont know if it will work out perfectly like that within the timeline of the game itself, though... theyre all pretty messy, and theyre children. i know we've been conditioned to believe that whoever is in love at the end of a story is gonna be together forever, but i dont think that way about something like deltarune. i can see them settling into a stable throuple by the time theyre like, 25? but before that, no matter what the setup is, i think theyre gonna have to deal with a lot of drama and heartbreak

hello!! hmmm that might be a bit tough, for the simple fact that... the original file is very small, lol. for reference, this is the size it is on an 8.5x11in canvas

i dont think i could blow that up to an acceptable print size without visible artifacting. but, i could maybe actually redraw it? if that would be okay? there's certain little things about the original that i would rather fix up, anyway... what do you think, would that be a solid risk to take, or not worth it?

and thank you! personally, i usually dont feel comfortable selling things that are just a redraw of something else as prints, besides the fact that the original file of that is also very tiny on a huge canvas. but those are my characters, yes, their names are iris and ceres and theyre trapped in a laboratory :)
