Not gonna lie, it was love at first sight for me with their character, they're just MWAH!!

I think part of the reason I enjoy his character so much is that, firstly, HIS DESIGN HELLO?? I LOVE his beautiful dress with the petal accents! He gives off major cottagecore vibes, which I'm defo drawn to as it is one of my favourite aesthetics. Also, because I just love nature in general! He'd already a walking flower-insect-akin-thing, so what's more to love?

Furthermore, I just generally enjoy nitpicking at his personality and tendencies. Straight into the first episode, we are told that Dahlia can be rather blunt, which I personally didn't notice at first glance. As someone who is neurodivergent, I didn't even realise he was coming across as such; it's one of those social norms that I don't pick up on, as I can also be quite 'blunt'. I think that's one of the reasons why he really spoke to me as a character right off the bat; he has a unique way of communicating and can sometimes be misinterpreted/misunderstood, something I relate to very personally.

When he was originally introduced, I noticed quite a few people weren't too fond of him, mainly because of what he said about Atlas in the first episode. I think some people just had a bad taste in their mouth from that initial interaction when they met Sun and Moon for the first time. I've definitely noticed more people have taken a liking to them now, though, which is really wonderful to see! We need to indoctrinate *cough* introduce more people to the Dahlia nation. /silly
