Another note. The Ring’s central theme isn’t forbidden love, but I can see why someone might think that by skimming wikipedia.
The Ring is about power vs. love, how pursuit of power corrupts and eventually destroys love, which then results in the destruction and remaking of the world… hm, notice how that’s a lot closer to the blurbs?
reading the ring synopsis and the “forbidden love” that #some people keep insisting means e/riel is happening sounds a lot more like helion and LOA’s story to me
