WELCOME! I’ve pinned this so there’s easy access for those interested in viewing my song recs and adding their own! I wasnt expecting this, but since I’ve started adding song lyrics and titles to my posts, there’s been a growing interest in music on this blog!! Do you ever think if after Johnny got kicked out from his home and grew bitter, after he got fits of rage he would later in private feel guilty about reminding himself of his father
probably, he probably has a lot of habits that he may have picked up including how he treated assistants and stable workers and women and whatnot, and i think that internally he shoved the connection deep down and used those actions as a form of self punishment or something without realizing why he hated himself so much. even though he’s been estranged he carries his father with him, like gyro does, though instead of self-berating like gyro, he acts poorly to others around him. so as he grows out of that immaturity he lets go of the negative habits he had from george.
at some point, he’s definitely accountable, and comes to realize that, but he makes the choice to want to be better and be kind of awful in his own special way. as in shooting people without remorse. which can be chalked up to self defense, but i digress.
i think in the time before he was paralyzed, it was easy to surround himself with distractions and ignore the grating guilt, but after he found himself completely alone and with time to introspect, yeah, not even his father visited him in the hospital. he’s left alone with his thoughts, reminiscing on decisions, and with no one to treat poorly but himself. oh johnny 💔
then he finds someone who’s just as weird and fucked up as he is 🫶
I love that when u draw Diego with anyone else u usually draw him as a dinosaur. Do u think he gets out of having to socialize with people that way? That’s what I imagine I’d abuse scary monsters for. Not even any dope dinosaur crap I would just go raptor the second I’m done with talking 😭 I really love that u drew Lucy and Johnny riding him but Gyro not being allowed to even mount him. Do u think he would let Johnny ride him since Johnny’s actually a jockey and Gyro is a “rank amateur”?
i guess i do!! that’s so funny! and yeah what a good cop out, i mean he does like getting on people’s nerves but what’s more annoying than animorphing in front of someone… i think he’d let johnny ride him because i believe in part 1 parallels and i believe that to some extent he’s kind of obsessed. i believe that gyro gets under his skin more tho so yeah he’s getting THE CLAW!!
