hello I just found your blog and I need to tell you that I have only ever called woodlice cheeselogs and I only found out they were in fact woodlice when I was 15
i LOVE cheeselogs as a name for them its so silly.. they are creatures with many regional names & identities! i think pillbugs tends to be the most common name for them, but i've heard butchy-boys, chucky-pigs, peabugs, slaters, piss-the-beds (translated from pissebedden), and i was raised with roly-polies :)
