tell us about the ocs!

my ocs are named lim minjeong and cha kyunghye!! (minjeong left, kyunghye right)

their setting is a hunterverse, where basically people are "awakened" with powers and ranked f through s. there are also dungeons and rifts- think solo leveling since thats the most popular work in the hunter genre despite my gripes with it. there is a system which is a game-like thing running the world. its hard to explain tbh, read the hunters gonna lay low for my main inspiration

kyunghye is the director of the governments hunter bureau, and is in charge of all of the hunters in south korea, as well as the dungeons and resources. she works as a coordinator, and rarely goes into dungeons herself despite being s class. she lost her sister in a tragic dungeon break ten years ago, and keeps a militant watch over the dungeons to try and prevent another tragedy. she is also a 28 year old butch trans woman, she/her. her powers are concentrated in her blood, as she can control metal to an extent, and use her blood as a weapon as well. she has a cursed snake rapier named baemie who hungers for her blood but theyre on chill terms as long as kyunghye lets it drink monster blood on occasion.

minjeong is a new s class on the scene, she isnt even registered and can be classified as a vigilante. she dropped out of college to take care of her grandparents horse farm in the mountains, but a dungeon break killed all of the horses since hunters were unable to make it in time due to the remote location. awakening in that break, minjeong decided to clean up all dungeons before they can break herself since the hunter bureau was clearly incompetent. she has wind powers, and can fly to an extent. her clearing and cleaning dungeons is a problem, because a lot of the hunter industry relies on resources from dungeons, like monster drops for crafting weapons, and magic stones. she is technically on the run from the law because of this, but moves so fast she can live with her parents without getting caught. she is followed by a wind spirit named minty who is a direct contact to the one who runs the system.

they have a bit of a tom and jerry like dynamic going on. kyunghye hates minjeong because she makes her job hard, but minjeong thinks kyunghyes tired ass is hot and wants to lead her on site so she can see her. at this point everybody knows who minjeong is, they just cant press charges because the laws are too vague when it comes to hunters and dungeons. its been ten years, but the industry isnt well regulated as its been every man for himself for a while. kyunghye is trying to wrangle it into submission, and deal with minjeongs goofiness on the side. minjeong leaves little love letters address to "unnie" at cleaned up dungeons, and makes flowers fly in through her windows. kyunghye should never leave her windows open, because minjeong will always find a way to bother her without being seen. kyunghyes employees find minjeongs shenanigans funny, and sometimes help her bother kyunghye so she takes a break from work.

ok this was a lot! but you asked, so. this is probably the most info ive given abt them at once, teehee. there are other characters like kyunghyes younger sister, and other hunters, but this is already so much information. theres more stuff in the tag #ipttw but thats also my misc oc tag. dont ask what ipttw stands for, i dont know anymore lol.

heres kyunghyes mii, as well as her reference sheet. minjeong doesnt have a reference sheet because shes less developed than kyunghye rn. she will be real eventually!
