Last week, I posted this: "So hopefully when you see me post again, at some point you'll excitedly exclaim, "They're back!" " Hey guess what? They are back! (And that also was my attempt a vague Protodude-like teaser for later on, that you sleuths can decipher, if you know what it references... ;D) After a short wait, I now have another 7 amazing new sketches from Ruby Spears Mega Man to show off. To start off this week of new posts, here is Pharaoh Man! Like the Mega Man sketch from last week, sadly, it is not quite the Pharaoh punch scene. while i definitely agree that someone who doesn't have the money probably shouldn't be acquiring new animals, "why do you have that pet if you're struggling to afford taking care of it?" is a cruel and reductive take imo

like aside from the fact that you are being kind of a dickhead, sometimes people's financial situations change in ways that they could not predict, sometimes animals suddenly become a lot more expensive to care for then you thought they'd be, etc

Broken tooth extraction help

Hi everyone. Thank you for everyone’s help in achieving my dental appointment, my xrays, and the whole conundrum of getting my broken tooth checked out and figured out. It turns out that the cavity is *fucking massive* and it is infected, which has been kind of chewing at my nerves and at my jaw and tissue. About 2/3 of the tooth is gone now, and it’s been causing anywhere between annoying, overwhelming discomfort all the way to body-shaking nauseated pain that’s almost taken me to the hospital. She’s given me antibiotics and pain meds for the time being and I am being referred out to an oral surgeon to extract the broken tooth and the rest of my wisdom teeth. I am.. really scared, I have a massive dental phobia so it’s kind of nerve wracking.

That aside, I spoke with my dental insurance company and it’s projected to be around $500 for the full extraction. I am not asking anyone for the full amount, but in between being kicked from our living situation and trying to land a new living situation, outpatient treatment for my OCD and bipolar disorder, and treatment for my wife’s narcolepsy, we are in need of a bit of assistance with my surgery.

If you can share this or even toss like $10 or so to help us as we scrape together everything to help us save, I’d be incredibly very grateful. Thank you all for your support over the past months.
