Last time I did sketches of Naruto, this time it’s them 👹 After countless Kim Possible-style study sheets back then, it now feels freeing to draw them as an adult (and in my own artstyle, mlem)

Also, I do hope a lot of people are aware they ended up together in Season 4 ✨

It genuinely feels so good to come back to the series that taught me how to properly draw. Kim Possible taught me stylization but Naruto taught me anatomy and perspective more than any anatomy books. Muscle memory is absolutely insane because what do you mean I can still vividly remember how to draw their features, outfits, and little design quirks 😭 My childhood really did leave a mark on me rahhhh 😩

I had absolutely zero expectations going into Project Hail Mary (I didn’t even bother watching the trailers LMAO)

During the first half of the film, I distinctly remember thinking, “I think I’m too dumb to follow along LOL” because of all the scientific jargon being thrown around (it also doesn’t help that I’m not exactly a sci-fi gal hajshdah) But as the story progressed, I honestly found myself caring less about the science and more about Grace’s internal conflict.

What surprised me most was how this supposed sci-fi film gradually shifted into something incredibly human. I’ve always associated sci-fi with cool, distant tones, but PHM managed to infuse the genre with so much warmth. At its core, it was really about a friendship that taught Grace to trust himself. I think it’s incredibly beautiful to see how much someone else’s presence can mean a lot to anyone. As Grace says, “You gave me everything,” and I think that sentiment carries a different kind of weight when it exists outside the realm of romantic love.

Honestly, the character dynamics brought so much heart to this sci-fi story that could’ve easily felt clinical or detached, and I think that’s what ultimately stayed with me. Also coincidentally, the composer for PHM is the same composer for Spiderverse so RAHHHH

Also (2) Ryland Grace, you are very attractive PLS TAKE ME HAHAJSDASJAHA

I've found myself diving back into How to Train Your Dragon these past few weeks, and I sweaAarr, no matter how many times I revisit the trilogy (and the series), it always feels like coming home—reminding me of how far I’ve come and how much I’ve grown to feel at home with myself.

Seeing Hiccup and Toothless soar through the sky, it feels strangely familiar. Not because I wish I could fly, but because I know what that freedom feels like within me—and I can only hope others get to experience it for themselves. HTTYD, I owe you my life. - 1/2 of HTTYD art (I got another WIP from 2023 so I’m completing that soon)

Ngl, I’ve been catching myself letting time pass like flowing water lately. I don’t want to overwhelm myself with all the things I need or want to do with my time just because I want to savor the little things I’ve already done and acquired in this life. But at the same time, I find it difficult to fully indulge in novelty too.

Maybe both can coexist after all ✨

Your expression work is simply amazing.

Is there a chance you’d ever do a continuation of the ISAC games for KPDH?

Aw thank you!

Unfortunately, no continuation! That was merely just a fun idea I had to put on paper, and I don't see the need to continue it for now haha

Hiya! Can I use some of your dispatch art in a school presentation? I am presenting on Fandoms and artists within it and I would love to include your work!
