I love Larry Linville's acting. He took a character who's a terrible person that the audience is meant to hate and played him so that you're never angry that he has screen time. I never think 'ugh, Frank is in this episode.' He even manages to make him seem sympathetic on the rare occasion. Maybe it's because he always loses to Hawkeye, but I'm always impressed because in my mind it's a lot harder to play daffy duck than it is to play bugs bunny.

#it’s also so fun to see Larry try not to break character#there are several instances but my favorite is in alcoholics unanimous during the some on it take off your skin scene#Hawkeye pulls him down the second time and you can see how hard he’s clenching his teeth trying not to laugh#and he keeps it together obviously but now whenever I see it it makes me smile#cause it’s like. oh I’m glad he was having fun doing this. I’m glad he was able to laugh while playing#arguably one of the most hated characters in television history

HFKDHFKR I was originally jb-hunnidew but I watch ‘the incubator’ a LOT and every time I do, I laugh at Henry telling them not to show up looking like a couple of freelance abortionists so I couldn’t help myself. It’s literally one of my favorite lines in the entire show 😂
