Hi! This is an interesting question that I have not thought about. I could only give a simply answer -  but I am sure that there are plenty more variations. I felt that a lot of social dances were exclusive to men in the old time - thought that might be my bias.

Here I included some dances that still can be seen today (most of them are from the southern provinces). While those dances below were usually performed by men in the old days, now there were also women dancers.

If anyone know more about this topic feel free to add one!
