“Elain is boring and hasnt done anything”

ELAIN LITERALLY CHANGED THE COURSE OF THE WAR.

Did you guys read ACOWAR or what? All her visions lead to something important and she LITERALLY ended the war by killing the king, THE VILLAIN, and saving Cassian and Nesta’s lives.

Considering that the new merch (dropped before covers) has details from the covers

I assume that the same merch also knows who the main cast of the books is 🤭

just imagine when Azriel finally gets a confirmation that Elain is his true mate he's gonna turn FERAL, knowing 100% that she is his mate NOTHING will be able to stop him from being with her omg i need him to be so so miserable over her

  1. Blodeuwedd
  2. Stone Mother
  3. Valkyrie Cycle
  4. If I've missed any...comment them!

All of these concepts relate to choice, fate, free will, and the ability to renounce fate in order to shape one's own destiny.

Blended my two Elain and Azriel portraits together and the result is perfect. They are so hot together and their aesthetic is *chefs kiss*

The song from the Cauldron that only Feyre, Nesta, and Elain can hear because they are Made. 😏🎶

And though Azriel cannot hear the music, his shadows recoil at it. Azriel has had beef with the Cauldron for a while now 😆

unpopular opinion, but Helion doesn’t really do it for me as a character. i don’t like him that much. i’m just not really into male characters who spend centuries suffering over the woman they love and then have an orgy every three minutes

that’s just not my cup of tea.

Anonymous asked:

BB and SJM: The entire book, all 4 parts are CALLED the Valkyrie Cycle. It’s right there in the cover.

Normal people: yay! The Valkyries are back.

Elriels: OMG an ELRIEL BOOK WITH NO VALKYRIES IN SIGHT

This is next level copium

I’m gonna hold your hand while I tell you this, dear anon. SJM uses myths as retellings in her writing. We’ve been telling y’all for years to look up Koschei the Deathless just for you to now be like “omg who is Koschei?!” The Valkyrie Cycle is a pretty obvious hint to Wagner’s opera The Ring Cycle/The Valkyrie. If you read the blurb, you’ll find a shocking lack of valkyries. It’s about Feysand and the IC, which includes Nesta and Elain. The only reference to a valkyrie would be IC member Nesta, the leader of the valkyries. Yes, the valkyries will likely be important to the plot and defeating Koschei… through Nesta. The only valkyrie BB mentioned in the promo. Interestingly, all the promo matches the blurb as IC focused.

It’s time for your fanon theories of Gwyn The One True Valkyrie to end.

“There were only a few presents left—Lucien’s…I handed Elain the small box with her name on it. Her smile faded as she opened it. “Enchanted gloves,” she read from the card. “That won’t tear or become too sweaty while gardening.” She set aside the box without looking at it for longer than a moment. And I wondered if she preferred to have torn and sweaty hands, if the dirt and cuts were proof of her labor. Her joy.”

Acotar coloring book - Covers

While looking at the coloring book I noticed something. These are papa Archeron's ships. Feyre Elain and Nesta. But look at the symbols.

Feyre = moon and stars

Nesta = sun

Elain = Eight pointed star

What's important is...those symbols are in the covers.

Acosf:

Acofm:

Is it just a coincidence? Or is there more?

Especially bc I theorized that archerons might come from the line of the female fae warrior who trapped koschei...and this coloring book page is papa archeron coming back from a bargain he made with koschei in order to release Vassa? Is it connected somehow? 👀👀👀

🌷✨ Elain in a field of tulips—her dream come to life.

“These bulbs,” Elain said, pointing with a gloved hand to a cluster of purple-and-white flowers, “came all the way from the tulip fields of the continent. Father promised that next spring he’ll take me to see them. He claims that for mile after mile, there’s nothing but these flowers.” ... “You should come with me,” Elain went on. “Nesta won’t go, because she says she doesn’t want to risk the sea crossing, but you and I … Oh, we’d have fun, wouldn’t we?”

Though Elain lost her human life and her father, her dream of visiting those endless tulip fields may still come true. Runa’s breathtaking piece feels like a glimpse into that dream—a fairytale moment where Elain’s quiet strength and beauty shine. Perhaps one day, she’ll travel to those fields, picnic basket in hand, and feel the joy she so deserves.

Runa’s work is made for fairytales, and Elain’s story is one waiting to be told.🌷🩷
