How I feel having to wear another goddamn holter monitor for 15 days because there may still be something wrong with my heart

#I'm also allergic to adhesive so it's itching now and by the time I'm done wearing it I'm going to have a really bad rash on my chest #I wore one for 7 days two months ago and that alone left a bad rash for about a week. 15 days will be fantastic for my skin 👍#I've already filled out my first 25 spot journal in 2 days and have filled out 10 spots in my 2nd one so that's not really a good sign lol #my cardiologist told me not to worry and instead let her do the worrying so that was nice to hear #but it's also hard not to worry about the most important organ in your body y'know #anyways how are you guys doing

#if I got a dollar raise for every time someone misgendered me at work (which I just started a month ago) I'd be $4-5 richer #tbh I die a little on the inside whenever someone misgenders me because it hurts. but at the same time? February 8th is National Iowa Day. I may have a love-hate relationship with this state, but I will forever and always be proud to be an Iowan

The inside of my nose is like Christmas

#aka red and green #I've had a shit ton of sinus issues due to long covid from August. I still have to wait until mid March before I can get checked out :/#I've had a few sinus infections (2 different antibiotics didn't help) and deep congestion issues for months now #so I've had gross mucus and blood in my nose for a bit now. sorry if tmi I'm just suffering lol

#well I've only flown out of two from the bunch. I'd say Newark was the worst. O'Hare has a special place in my heart and it was a good-#experience. Reagan was probably the worst out of the 5 airports I've flown out of. SeaTac has been the best

Your friendly Black History Month reminder that Black Jews are JEWS.

Born Jews, Jews by choice, Orthodox, Conservative, Reform, Ashkenazic, Sephardic, Mizrahi, Israeli, diaspora…they are an integral part of all of our communities and I will fight anyone who says otherwise.

We still have work to do as a community to uplift Jewish POC, particularly Black Jews, but to my Black Jewish friends out there know that I see you and I will keep trying to do the work.
