i recently noticed that introductions and such are a normal thing to do? And either you put them in your description or as a post, and I change my description a lot soo here we are for anyone interested. I’ll keep this post up for a few days to see what happens, but if I start to get uncomfortable I might delete it.

Hi! I’m ExpiredKitty! I post about tsc and- not really other things? I mean I have other interests but I mainly post about tsc and the wicked powers

I started doing tumblr mainly because I knew literally nobody irl who knew this series and I was hyperfixating so hard that I was driven to desperation and was like “screw it” because I needed a place to share my thoughts with people who know what I’m talking about. I actually downloaded tumblr because of tsc- I never would’ve gotten it before that! Though I’m not quite sure what will happen with this account once tsc ends

I think this is pretty obvious, but my favourite character is Kit Herondale! Some other favourites I do have though is Raphael Santiago, Alastair Carstairs and Magnus Bane. My favourite ship is really obviously Kit and Ty (it’s my pfp after all). I love ranting abt any of these topics so if you’re down to discuss, I’m down- just hit me up or tag me or whatever and I’ll be happy to add my opinion on whatever or just discuss or debate things!!

A bit about myself, my pronouns are she/her, I’m a minor, I live in Australia though I do have another ethnicity.I love reading, MBTI (yes I have all the MBTI’s of the TSC characters listed),and playing the sport I’m currently doing! I don’t really share much about myself or talk about myself much since I value my privacy on the internet

Anyway, that’s me! I hope that gave any of you interested some info (though I don’t suspect a whole lot, since it’s so unlike my normal posts)

rereading tda and remembering how ty was genuinely manhandling kit the entire series and kit just went along with it

some of you guys really want the brains and the brawn trope with Kit and Ty but if anything Ty is closer to the brawn because he’s a better fighter then Kit 😭

(Not as long because Dru’s character has been treated surprisingly well, which is a miracle for female characters especially)

1. Dru is not a reader or typical Blackthorn nerd. She’s smart but more practicality wise- in tlkof first chapter snippet thingies she describes how unlike the rest of her family, she prefers more hands on, practical things and actually quite dislikes theory work, history and such

2. Like Ty, Dru obviously has issues with being infantilised and overprotected and considered ‘weak’ as she was so often overshadowed by her siblings.

3. I feel like Dru is kinda reasonable? Like people paint her sometimes as this chaos gremlin but when we read in her POV’s she actually has quite straightforward thinking and understandable reasoning for what she does- she is a bit impulsive but i think sometimes we’re a bit dramatic with it

4. I just really wanted to add this- Dru cannnonically (is that the word-?) gets competitive in games. She literally gets into fights and pulls Ty’s hair which is so funny and I can imagine her and Kit playing card games and because Kit was raised by a criminal he’s extremely good at them and everytime she loses she throws the deck in his face

a few weeks ago I mentioned how a spiderman kit au would be so cool and i wanted to build on what that would look like (in my mind) If anyone wants to add anything please do!

-Ty would 100% be trying to figure out Spider-Man’s identity after spiderman saved him and Livvy once

-Ty has scars on his back from when he was attacked and put himself infront of Livvy before spiderman got there. Livvy has a huge scar going from her chest to her hip BUT SHES ALIVE AND STUDYING COMPUTER ENGINEERING AT UNI BECAUSE I SAID SO

-Kit and Ty would maybe be in their second year of uni and Ty talks about moving in together but Kit is hesitant because he constantly comes home with bruises and he knows Ty will realise how he vanishes a lot

-Ash would be the only other person who knows his identity because Ash just broke into his dorm (as best friends do) while he was out and saw him take off the mask

-Dru has suspected Ash knows something but hasnt said anything to Ty. Dru was the first to see Kit’s bruises and Kit made her swear not to tell anything to Ty (she thought he got himself in a gang)

-Livvy strongly suspects Kit is spiderman but hasnt said a word to Ty because she knows he will go crazy trying to find proof (or heavily deny it)

-Kit always has to try to mislead ty on his identity and he feels really guilty about it so everytime he does he goes out and buys ty his favourite foods

-Kit has a lot of insomnia and nightmares. Ty has noticed

-Kit is generally pretty quiet as a person to not attract attention to himself. He only relaxes completely around Ty

-Ty realised something is wrong with Kit when after a really bad fight Kit flinches when Ty leans on him and Kit refuses to tell him where he got the bruises. Ty refuses to talk to him for days till he finds out where Kit got the bruises.

-Ty interrogates Ash because other then Ty himself Ash knows almost everything about Kit (and Ash knows Ty is terrifying when he’s angry) (ash doesn’t tell him anything)

-Ty talks to Livvy about it and she brings up how Kit randomly vanishes a lot and sometimes seems so exhausted and gets so many nightmares and Ty realises Kit might be spiderman

-When Ty finds out he gives Kit the most bone crushing hug and Kit just starts sobbing
