your eyes slowly peel open after the countless hours of sleep you and your overworked boyfriend had finally got. the snow out the window feathered into view before slowly joining the rest onto the already-covered grass. it’s finally winter.

“is it still snowing?” your boyfriend, who’s head was laying comfortably on your chest, grumbled in a low and warm tone. you couldn’t help but think about how devastating soft he was like this. hair in all directions, eyes a little puffy, clothes on the floor from the previous night, cheek smooshed against your bare chest ; soft was the only way to describe it.

“yeah the news said we might be getting over 5 inches”

he pauses for a second before laughing a little under his breath and quietly muttering , “you’ve had enough inches”

the groan that escapes your mouth is loud, “riki, it’s 8 in the morning!”

for the first time in hours, he lookes up at you with a huge grin on his face and climbs further up your body to be face to face, “baby, you know time never stops a hard working man.”

“get away from me, you freak” you can’t help but laugh a little as you press your hand into his naked chest, trying (but not really) to push him away from your body.

riki’s smile is infectious when he climbs even further up your body to wrap his arms around your head and press your face into his chest. in every other scenario, you would most definitely be complaining about how you can barely breathe. however, with the way he’s smiling so bright, and the way both your bodies are pressed together, so warm in contrast to the cold air of the room, you decide to let him stay like that for a few minutes.

“thank you for coming over” riki’s tone is gentle as he moves his thumb back and forth across your cheek while lightly kissing your hairline.

“i had no choice, you threatened to kill my cat”

the eye roll and tone he uses with you is sassy, “yeah but you knew i was kidding so you wanted come here because you wanted to”

your mouth curls upwards before pressing a soft kiss to his lips, “i always want to be here”

riki fake gags at you before positioning himself to lay back onto your chest, drawing circles on the exposed skin of your stomach, “i wanna get your kiss mark tattooed”

“WHAT?”
