Hello there. I've recently started following your work and really admire it. You've been releasing new pieces very frequently lately, so i wanted to ask: where do you draw your creative energy from, and what inspires you?
ive gotten a ton of asks over the last few days SORRY ill try to reply to everyone that sent one on a topic i haven't responded to yet😭
personally what works for me is scrolling through Pinterest for composition ideas id like to see my favourite characters in or basing the piece on a song (such as the mind electric dottore or the spoken for furina I recently posted!!). I also like to focus each of my pieces in a certain part of the process, so I'll just draw something accordingly (for example if I want to practice coloring i wont clean the lineart too thoroughly, if I want to practice dynamic posing i wont focus on coloring being nice, and so on)
to avoid burning out ive set some sort of rule?? that unless I want to make a full piece I shouldn't be taking more than an hour/hour and a half daily. the longer you take the more frustrated you might become and in my experience thats what ends up artblocking you😔
it doesn't matter if you want to post a girl looking left standing in a white background three days in a row, what matters is the practice you get out of it!
