Hello everyone!
This is the annual summer update of the last academic year. As you may know, I went to Paris two weeks ago to pass my exams (8 in a week, very tiring). I finished with a good feeling, after spending some sleepless nights and high anxiety (if you feel that with finals as well, trust me, I got you). I knew it was going to be a hard semester to pass, because during the first semester I failed pretty roughly; I was doing an internship at the UN and those months prior to the exams were very very busy, much so that I barely studied. Even if I left these last exams with a good feeling, I was 50% sure I wasn't going to pass and was going to have to repeat the year because of how high of a grade I needed in order to compensate for the first semester... but I did in fact pass!! (very roughly, but it's still a pass). So, I'm happy (and proud) to say that next year I'll be doing my 3rd and last year of my LLB !! :) Next month, I'll have to enroll and choose a specialty (private, public, or private/public) and I already decided I will choose public to specialize later on in public international law, or human rights law (maybe international criminal law?). I feel a weight off of my shoulders after getting my grades, and those three months locked at the library have paid off at last...
On another note, I've been thinking these past few months about my next move (physical move). I'm back at my dad's place but I have been moving so much throughout my studies to different countries, different cities, that now it feels weird to be back home. But, I've decided that I will most likely finish my law degree from home (it's an online degree, so it's 100% doable), which will be a good opportunity for me to get grounded again, and be able to focus on what matters most to me, which is finishing this degree and doing music. I'll be able to start learning piano and guitar seriously, and release more music as I go (some is already on the way). It will be a cozy, focused and honestly, much needed year... (except of course if something happens and I have to move across the globe at the last minute which, knowing me and my life, wouldn't surprise me at all). So, I'll be sharing my academic and productive journey as I go :) (I still have to write my internship's memoir to finish my masters in international and European affairs, so stay tuned for that).
I finally wanted to thank you guys for the overall support that you've given to this blog these past few months — we're in this together!!
See you soon,

hi guys!! everyone knows me here as a studyblr (rightfully so), but I wanted to come here today and tell you that I also make music on the side... this is hard for me because I was not sure if I wanted to reveal my identity, but for me music and my studies are very much correlated, and music feels like an extension of everything I learn and am... anyways, if you're looking for some sad, nostalgic, summer background music while you study, here I leave you my first ever single "summertime affair" :) (available on all streaming platforms by the name Maria Andreu — yep, my name is not moon... shocker). no worries, I will still post academic content, but it just felt right to share this with you guys. love you. keep on learning! moon xxx
