don't you find it funny that the downfall of this fandom might not be caused by
- the disagreements of whether avery should have ended up with jameson or grayson (as if there is still a question about this)

- or whether lyra is a good enough love interest for grayson or whether lyra is good enough in general (as if there is a question about this too, but do note that i am respectful of your differing opinions)

if you are reading this, i hope you understand that baseless accusations on our fic writers will cause them to lose motivation and their spark to write. what happens then? no more fics. no more content.
these are the same people feeding us with the character interactions we so badly want to see, the same people answering your requests and putting time and effort into writing them, into making sure the dialogue, the tone, the thoughts, match the characters they are writing about.
i understand that AI is getting scary and it's getting more difficult to know what is AI and what isn't, but what's scarier and what has always been scary is jumping to conclusions. and even then, it's not only about jumping to conclusions.
yes, freedom of expression and freedom of belief.
yes, i understand that your intentions are good and you are worried about the content you are consuming and whether it has been AI-generated or not, but being brave enough to voice your concerns but not voicing them to the right people is not being brave.
is your intention really to address the matter of AI-generated writing and its numerous implications and unfairness to original fic writers (which i assume is why you refuse to support AI writing in the first place), or is it to cause unnecessary drama, which i strongly believe you don't want too?
sending asks to a *single* party about your concerns of *multiple* writers is placing unnecessary (and unwanted) pressure on that single party to ask your accused writers about their writing, when in fact, you, the one who is brave enough to accuse, the one who is brave enough to voice these concerns, should be brave enough to address the "accused" in question.
it is not okay to involve an external party (who is not even a writer, from what i have read from her blog) in your claims and concerns. she herself has mentioned that she is becoming stressed with all of your claims taking over her blog, and if i have to guess, she is uncomfortable and getting sick of it.
i repeat,
being brave enough to voice your concerns but not voicing them to the right people is not being brave.
i want to emphasise that it is not wrong to make accusations. you have every right to do so, as your concerns come from a place of good intention. people like you are the reason why difficult issues can be brought up, why space can be made for these issues to be solved.
with those good intentions in mind, i have a suggestion: maybe address the fic writers you believe to be using AI directly.
maybe ask them about it privately, voice your concerns respectfully, and i know they will clarify it with you.

there are no more reasons to continue accusing them when they have graciously explained themselves.
