Xiang is not, he was benevolent from the very beginning, helping others without expecting at least some kind of reward.

Macaque / Meilin

Probably one of the main qualities that could show similarities between these two is envy. Macaque was jealous of Wukong, envious of how much he loved him, how much they admired him, and this was the reason for his downfall. And it would seem that Meilin should also feel envy, envy of how Lan is praised and put in the first place, but no, and perhaps at first it was like that, in childhood, but as she grew older, she realized that instead of wanting to take someone else's place, she would find her own.

Hou / Lan

Hou is someone who has found his strength in fire, steel, war, he is a warrior whose poise can sometimes surprise, to see him in anger is equivalent to finding the end of the rainbow. Meanwhile, Lan, whose rage knows no bounds and destroys everything in its path.

Riluo / Xue

And this duet is truly amazing. Riluo is cunning, he knows how to plot, keep secrets that will be forgotten... Empathy? He doesn't know the word, he'll smile just for the sake of decency. Xue, oh, this little ray of sunshine, her heart and soul are pure, she will always be sincere with you, and will try to help, no matter the physical or mental pain.

I love Meilin's "mask," but I don't see her showing it at all in the future. So I thought it would be a good idea to do it like this:

I didn't quite understand your question... I have no other universes where there is a Wukong and a Meilin. AU Senlin is a kind of my personal world where I write the story of the characters, it's almost a completely independent project of mine.

But in general, I can imagine how Meilin would get into the world of LMK. I think she and Wukong would have had friendly relations there, nothing more. On the one hand, this is Wukong, but nevertheless he is absolutely not the one she fell in love with.

The most difficult and unusual thing for Meilin and Lan in the future is acceptance in society. They are demons, they have done a lot of terrible things, especially Lan, the monkeys among whom they will live, they will simply be feared, someone will hate them and they are tolerated mainly only because of their connection with Wukong.

The children of Wukong and Meilin will not be very sweet, and all because of their mother, perhaps there will be some respect for the children, after all, their father is the king, but this tension, these glances, they will be noticeable...

Meilin, noticing all this, will even hide his "mask" on his face with the help of an illusion (unfortunately that's all she has the strength for, she's not as strong in magic as Macaque, whose powers are essentially the same in her idea). Although Wukong himself is against this, so that she tries to somehow adapt to someone else's opinion, he tried to persuade Meilin not to pay attention to the whole circus, but she does not want to agree to anything.

I really like to imagine Meilin's future, where she will find simple happiness in her family, in peace, which she wanted so much when she was little and under the rule of Konpu, her creator, whom she wants, does not want, but perceived as a mother, but she did not receive the same love and care. And she decided for herself that even if she didn't get all this, her cubs would get it, especially her firstborn daughter, Yulan.

First of all, I would like to clarify that Meilin's pregnancy will be planned. Despite the fact that in many mythologies absolutely anyone can become pregnant, nevertheless in my world I would like to make sure that Wukong and Meilin could conceive a cub with the help of their magic, since they were not sure that this was possible, the nature of Wukong as such was unknown due to the fact that He wasn't born as a demon, or as a celestial being, he's something else entirely (Meilin is definitely a demon).

And of course, when he finds out that Meilin is going to get pregnant after all, he will be incredibly happy about it.

In a way, Lan takes it as a mockery of himself after learning that Xiang was supposed to be the heir to the throne. Yes, in fact, Xiang himself did not touch Lan in any way, he did not interact with him, except for one case that would happen in the future, after which they would become roughly speaking... Direct enemies. But, nevertheless, Lan hates the very fact of Xiang's existence.

He's not so much Wukong's "son", but rather his clone. Younger, more energetic, not broken like Wukong himself.

When Riluo abducted Xiang, he failed to kill him, he failed to harm the baby, so he cast the illusion of a human form on him and drowned out any sign of the Monkey King's power.

The kid was thrown into a human city where he was sheltered by the family of an ordinary fishmonger, and that's where he grew up, but the city itself is not simple... The city is known for being ruled by a great family of demon hunters who have been protecting it for generations, and what a stroke of luck... Xiang met the daughter of this family, and it was she who told him the legends about Sun Wukong and other great personalities, but it was only about this monkey that he was interested in hearing.

He wanted so much to get to know Sun Wukong, to become his disciple, and on one of these days, when Xiang and his friend, as always, violated the rule of the city and went beyond its borders, they were attacked by a demon from which they were saved by the Great Sage.
