Hello!! first off congrats on starting your drawing journey!!
For an artist just starting out, I think you should primarily focus on seeking joy and fun through art (drawing freely, experimenting, doodling as you wish, drawing subjects you love such as an OC or favorite character), and analytical observation (drawing from life, copying 3D forms, seeking to understand the world)
The former will fulfill your creativity and expand your imagination, and the latter will improve your observation and technical skills. try to do them both equally when you draw (30min on each, for example). Research online about different exercises you can do for each goal- you could also check out my #art advice tag.
As for followers, I think it might be more helpful to ask yourself 'how can i connect with others?'. follow, support, and interact with artists/accounts you like (not just big ones but small ones too!). post sketches and progress updates. engage with subjects you love and enjoy. find independent projects to be a part of. followers are more like a symptom of forming a small community
And lastly don't stress! Art should be fun. Social media should be fun. putting pressure on yourself is counterproductive and it feels bad too, so just let loose!!
Good luck! I hope this helped!
