Buck Spider-Man au

I just watched the new spider-man movie so now I need to do this

I wanted to set it in a world where buck did loose his leg and was unable to continue being a firefighter

He felt very alone and useless because he couldn’t help anyone. That was until he was bitten by a spider on a day out with Chris

He then became spider-man and was able to help people again like he wanted but kept his identity secret from everyone as he didn’t want them to stop him from doing what he loved as the police force disagree with a vigilante and the trouble he could inspire

He saved Chris from the tsunami and revealed his identity only to Chris, Eddie wants to meet spider-man to thank him for saving his son and is somehow completely oblivious that it is buck

Hen and chimney make bets on trying to sus out who spider-man is

Athena doesn’t necessarily dislike him but is chasing him to unmask him because of the people he could inspire

Bobby likes him but doesn’t fully agree with the methods

Buck wears a prosthetic and tries to hide the fact he is missing a leg to avoid his identity being exposed

Bravery doesn’t necessarily mean they are never afraid but they still choosy to face difficult situations.

This is really difficult because everyone in this show is brave af at different points 😭 So I guess it’s whoever is consistently the most brave? but there are really no wrong answers because they all are brave.

Personally at the minute I feel like it’s buck but idk if some of it gets discounted because he did things for different reasons or if there are things that the others did that were just outstandingly brave that has completely gone over my head

Obviously they would never have left him but I can’t imagine the amount of dread he must feel knowing he nearly talked himself into becoming a phantom

So I’ve recently got into the show 911 and holy shit I’m a little obsessed 👌

So far my favourite character is Buck and I thought it was funny that him and hen technically had animal nicknames

So now I’ve started making animal associations for each character and drawing them.

Obviously 🫠.

Buck was a no brainer, I made him a buck.

Specifically a white tailed deer, no specific reason, I just liked it 👍

But I thought it was cute if his birthmark was like those little white deer marks they have when they’re kids which is why people see him as younger than he is, especially at the beginning.

I was fighting for my life trying to give a deer stubble 😭

Eddie took a little more thought cuz his name gave nothing

I ended up making him a Belgian Malinois because they are very commonly used for the army along with German shepherds and stuff

I also can’t explain it but it just fitted his features so well? 😭

Anyway I gave him a little star on his head cuz yknow silver star.

and also gave a dog eyebrows, which they do sort of have anyway

I now can’t stop imagining this in practice and every time I cracks me up

I am now realising I probably didn’t need to draw the animals in such detail when I could have just put a picture but fuck it we ball I guess

Anyway, idk why I’m doing this and the next ones I do may not be for a while because I have so much school work 😭

I’ll probably do hen and chimney next because I’ve already got stuff in mind for them
