yes, I had deactivated it on purpose! I'm moving away from fandom stuff in general but I don't want to delete my blog. password protection lets me lock it down while keeping it archived. I think posts that you reblogged from me should still be available on your own blog.

I finally got around to writing lore for one of my dragons. Here's the problem about lore, though, it's sort of boring to read when there's a lot of itโฆ So instead, I made a short comic about this guy to introduce him to you.
The TL;DR is that Tachyon believes he comes from a timeline where a massive Emperor named the Luminous Heir brought cataclysmic damage to the world. He is now attempting to kill the Imperials he believes made up that Emperor in order to prevent this from happening again. Functionally, we cannot be sure if this is real or not. It's actually entirely possible that Tachy hallucinated the entire thing. It's also possible that he's the one who caused the Emperor to form in the first place (so many dead Imperials, hello?) He does not attempt to kill all Imperials, only the ones he believes were part of that larger Emperor at the beginning. Tachy only remembers their names, not what they look like, so as you can imagine this is troublesome if an Imperial is named something extremely common. He's been wandering around Sorneith looking for these dragons.

Hello hello, I notice that you said you've been reading She Who Became the Sun,,, care to share your thoughts? I'm reading it now at my roommates insistence and Im obsessed
I LIKED IT A LOT. It was recommended to me on account that I was asking for eunuchs in fiction book recs; I'm mainly into late Ming/early Qing dynasty, Chinese history wise, so this book ALIGNED with my interests to a wild degree. I am enamoured with the alt history retelling, the low fantasy, and the characters. Zhu Chongba is fully off her rocker and that's just fantastic. The radiance/Ming (ๆ) dynasty named after the radiance and all the historical continuity tickled my brain so much, I really liked it.
Ouyang as an An Lushan-esque eunuch general is great; I expected to care more about his relationship with Esen, but sadly didn't?? (Rare August fujo L...) I liked Wang Baoxiang a lot and he is probably my second favourite character in the book. I immediately started reading He Who Drowned the World after finishing She Who Became the Sun, but I haven't finished that one yet!

I leveled up my cross stitch insanity to working on clothes and of course, instead of doing little flower or something, I had to do a full back piece. ๐
Already a few dozens hours in (and about as many poked fingers) and I really like it so far.
