How do you get so good at drawing? I’ve self-studied in the past but it always feels so aimless!
I'm like the worst person to ask, I've always been quite aimless, I just always wanted to draw. Have a goal? When I was young I was mostly focused on trying to draw "as cool" as the sick ass anime art I loved, so for a while my priority was making something I found aesthetically interesting, but not particularly sound on the fundamentals. Eventually I became kinda frustrated bc I'd become good at creating pleasing shapes, but struggled to draw something that I felt actually represented the body I have, or showed the characters I drew in a real space. At which point I started focusing more on drawing better faces and bodies and environments.
Just keep drawing what you want to and eventually you'll find something that works. Or take a class idk, I don't really know how much value there is in simply "drawing well" in the end
Hi! Will the sketchbook on Itch have your patreon sketches also? Or is it mutually exclusive?
Will grab when I have money!!! You're one of my favorite artists.
The sketchbook does include stuff from my Patreon but it's only the pages from that specific physical sketchbook. I might also try putting together another sketchbook of all my Patreon digital sketches at some point, we'll see!
a drawing of your sona came across my feed today and i immediately recognised your account bc i saw you months ago and. youre me. like. idk how you look like irl of course, but looking at your art its fucking crazy just how much me and you look alike. i even showed your sona to my partner and they confirmed it we look exaclty the same😭😭😭 this is genuinely crazy to me
I'm sorry for the confusion, I am me, and not you. something you will come to learn is there are multiple fat women with wavy short black hair. at least 2 or three. cartoons obscure the finer details
