we love a recovery
nahhhh it totally is self care in moderation. when I’m having a super cooked few weeks, when I get back home I lay in bed for 3-4 days sleeping and eventually I get restless and can’t lay around anymore and get up and start learning to weld or something. the restlessness and energy coming back is how I know I’ve recovered from pushing my body and mind too far for too long
One of the most important aspects of self care is learning how to tell the difference between the times when what you need is just to crash, and the times when what you need is to get your ass in gear and do stuff. They’re both necessary in their appropriate situations.
