*holding up my character like an item in animal crossing* *theyre covered in blood and dirt and tears snd snot with a badge that says 'living weapon'* *they bite*
comics love to go okay this character's ethnicity/background was poorly represented or slightly stereotyped in the 80s/90s. the representation of being bilingual was kind of clunky. to fix this we have erased everything except them being colored brown. this is better and woke because we aren't doing stereotypes.
Everyone’s memory of Asgard being erased means the X-Men think Dani did all that during her depowered era without valkyrie powers
the thing about female characters and marriage and motherhood and other societal expectations is that if you actually spend time examining their relationships to those roles you can get really interesting results! but people aren’t doing that! why is this character married for the finale? because she’s a woman and that’s what they do!
