I saw someone else point out how novel everything would be. Even a sunburn would be new and awful for him. He knows what pain is, obviously. The lab was full of it. But the little human pains? The ones that don't heal quickly and can't be avoided? That would be terrible for him. If anything, Hell would just be another big bad room. Purgatory is familiar, but I think he would really struggle with the small stuff. Splinters in his hands, sweat in his eyes, blisters and headaches, etc. etc. Being human hurts worse than anything.

And what a curious thing it was, feeling his own blood on his face for a change.
