i dont think they necessarily "regret" the success of just pretend because as Noah said in an interview, even if the creative process of the song started as a "joke", he ended up loving the song and saying its a real good one. But it's always a double edged sword when you mix deep lyrics, awesome prod and a pretty face, there's always some delulus convinced that he could fall in love with them, because the kpop industry has fried their brain too much its leaking out of the earholes 🤷‍♀️ I just wish sometimes they'd clap back and put some people back to their place the same way they used to do
