I just know bad omens show is gonna be devastating for me, i need to let all the emotions from the last five months out, I cant wait to see them

plot twist: it was devastating in the best way possible, I met so many beautiful people, my gifts and letter were given to Noah hand in hand thanks to Stephen the best security guy ever, Noah waved at me, Jolly smiled at me, I got a setlist, the show was insane, I’m just speechless right now

Honestly, yeah. You’ve got unhinged β€˜exes’ swearing Just Pretend was written about them and TikTok K-pop-coded fangirls losing their collective minds over what was literally a joke love song. Like, pop off I guess, it did rocket them into the stratosphere the same way The Summoning did for Sleep Token (looking at you, BookTok thirst brigade πŸ‘€). But I can’t help but wonder if the guys ever regret that success, because it unearthed the absolute feral goblin core of their fandom. We went from chill to cult documentary in record time.

I would say cult documentary is spot on in some cases. Do any of you think they regret the success that was created from Just Pretend?

louder for the people in the back!!!!!!! THIS!!

i dont think they necessarily "regret" the success of just pretend because as Noah said in an interview, even if the creative process of the song started as a "joke", he ended up loving the song and saying its a real good one. But it's always a double edged sword when you mix deep lyrics, awesome prod and a pretty face, there's always some delulus convinced that he could fall in love with them, because the kpop industry has fried their brain too much its leaking out of the earholes πŸ€·β€β™€οΈ I just wish sometimes they'd clap back and put some people back to their place the same way they used to do
