I walked all alone
For a long century
Til I found my brothers
And my brothers found me
Boo hoo these boys make me CRY. I wanted to make a banner for this blog and I thought, oh wouldn't it be cute to just paint the boys all hanging out? And then painting them all having fun and being happy with each other made me big sad. On the other hand, painting all their costume details is just awful and I hate that none of them have normal plackets on their pants.
**EDIT** A couple people hilariously pointed out that David's arm was maybe a BIT more muscular than he probably ought to be (I love painting muscles, it's a curse!). So I've done a little tweak to make his musculature a little more aligned with how lean he actually is :3

Remember kids, smoking is bad for you.
Apologies for a two week gap! Your girl was at GenCon and it wore me down to a nub.
I humbly offer pencils for the first page of a David x Michael comic I've been working on. Still not sure where I want to take the final rendering.
I consider the scene where David blows smoke onto Michael's lips to be the most sexually charged in the film, and I'm going to turn the musical Michael's inability to hit a blunt a sexy teaching moment. This miiiight get very explicit, but tbh I'm still not sure how Tumblr handles that or a good option to take it for viewing outside the platform. We'll see!
Whenever I become obsessed with a character I have got to do an expression sheet for them (pls enjoy a bonus Michael) as I figure out what unique features I love about their face. I absolutely love Ali's expressive David, even as a huge fan of the more reserved movie David. I am still trying to figure out wtf his hair is doing and what direction it moves in though, but bless that easy hairline.
Also whoever decided to put that iridescent shimmer or highlighter on David's face is a gd genius. His cheekbones and the beauty mark on his left cheek hungers for the light (Ali's best side is his left side obvi).
