Romance Trope Prompt List: Blind Date + Dinah Madani [Punisher]

Title: Romance Trope Prompt List: Blind Date + Dinah Madani

Pairing: Dinah Madani X Reader

Prompt: Blind Date

Word Count: 1,554 words

Warning(s): brief mention of sick children (not detailed)

Summary: [Early Season 1 of Punisher] Sam Stein has decided that Dinah is too in her head and needs to take a night to worry about something that isn't work. He sets Dinah up with a neighbor of his who is the opposite of what Dinah would usually go for. But maybe that's exactly what she needs.

Author's Note: This was requested by a lovely anon reader! Love Dinah; she is the love of my life!

One more thing, I'm still playing around with 2nd person pov so let me know if you hate it or not.

----------------------

Dinah would never know how Sam talked her into this plan of his.

Maybe he had just insisted enough. Maybe she felt bad about keeping him at the office for so much overtime. Maybe she just wanted him to get off her back about being too fixated on her work.

Whatever the reason was felt irrelevant when the event itself felt like such a mistake before Dinah had even stepped through the door.

Sam had set up a blind date.

His pitch was... something.

Romance Trope Prompt List: Mentor X Protégé + Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter [Daredevil | Marvel]

Title: Romance Trope Prompt List: Mentor X Protégé + Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter

Pairing: Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter | Bullseye X Reader

Prompt: Mentor X Protégé

Word Count: 2,779 words

Warning(s): stalking, an inappropriate power dynamic (probably the least concerning part, honestly), Dex being a bit of a freak

Summary: [Set prior to season 3 of Daredevil] Dex has a new co-worker. Someone new to the office... well, new to the job altogether, really. He never meant to take them under his wing, but now that they were there, he wasn't sure how to let go. Or maybe he just didn't want to.

A story told through a collection of tapes reflecting Dex's growing want and fascination with a new agent and just how serious the tipping point of those feelings can be.

Author's Note: The POV in this is different than my usual, so let me explain. It's a lot of "you/your" kind of text but it is limited to specifically Dex's perspective. Think of the narration from the Netflix show You, which just happens to also be about a stalker. So, you = reader and I = Dex.

This is also numbered and reads more like a transcript than anything else. I like to think that Dex at some point was trying to keep his compulsions in check by turning to making tapes like his therapist made for him. I didn't date them, but this is all prior to him meeting Fisk.

Requested by @gh0st-quart3t

---------------------

Tape #1:

I don't know why I'm doing this.

I don't know if this will work. It just feels right.

You will never hear this. Not a word of it. Not if I can help it. But I can't pretend that they're for anyone else. I don't even think they're for me. Listening back would be... dangerous. A bad idea. It will just make things worse.

I know that. I have to know that.

This wouldn't even be happening if you didn't ask for my help.

Romance Trope Prompt List: Forced Proximity + Age Gap + Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter [Daredevil | Marvel]

Title: Romance Trope Prompt List: Forced Proximity + Age Gap + Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter

Pairing: Benjamin "Dex" Poindexter | Bullseye X Reader

Prompt: Forced Proximity + Age Gap

Word Count: 6,335 words

Warning(s): HEY! LOOK HERE! shooting, death by gun, unethical relationship/medical practices (this will make sense), both of them are not well and fixated more than they love

Summary: [Between Season 1 & 2 of Daredevil: Born Again] Dex doesn't have many places to go after breaking out of prison. He is left to track down a familiar face from his life before prison. From before Vanessa Fisk had found him again. His choices leave both of them at risk and trapped in a small hideout while he tries to figure out how to solve the problem that he clearly created.

Author's Note: I struggled a lot with where I wanted to put this in the general timeline of things because I had a second request that was definitely at risk of being too similar if I placed them at them at the same time. Anyway, this was requested by an anonymous reader here on Tumblr! Wahoo!!

Also, this age gap prompt is gonna be the death of me. I don't know how to make it sound natural.

Here's a link to my prompt list, if you wanna check it out!!

-----------------

Dex and I were never meant to meet.

At least, not the way that we did.

There were so many what ifs about it all. So many that I couldn't allow myself to think about them or I would find myself overwhelmed. Dangerously far down the rabbit hole until I could no longer see the light at the top.

We'd met each other in an... unusual way.

I worked in the facility he had spent nearly a decade in.

Hello, Daredevil fans!

If you’re looking for some fanfics (x readers, specifically), then you should check out my romance trope prompt list!

I am open to writing for most Daredevil/Daredevil -adjacent characters, but I am not gonna lie, I’m kinda hoping for some Dex/Bullseye requests because I have an infuriating soft spot for him that I just can’t shake

Thank you! Love you! See you later!

(Also, I tried to fit a lot of characters in the tags just to give y’all an idea who I was open to writing for but if who you’re looking for isn’t there, then feel free to ask!)

Three Song Series: Small Artist Celebration!

Hello!

Hopefully, many of the people that are seeing this post know about my three song series. For those who don't, it's a series of stories where I take an artist, choose three songs, and use them to create one big story in three small chunks. For some examples, here's a link to my master list for this series.

Now, I have been choosing all of these artists on my own for a long time. However, with the new year coming and my coming back to writing after almost a whole month, I want to take some time to focus on artists that aren't as well known.

I want you to send me some of your favorite small artists. Any artists that you think need more attention and could make interesting stories. You can send these in on their own or you can include a character that you think would fit the vibe of the artist.

I only have two requirements:

  • The artist must have at least three releases (full songs; preferably on Youtube or a music streaming service)
  • The artist must have less than 100k monthly listeners (I am more flexible with subscribers/followers as that is not always consistent with engagement)

Thank you so much in advance for participating in this! I can't wait to see what gets sent in!

See you later!

I Don't Wanna Go Back to the Lonely Life - Sam Wilson Imagine [Marvel | Captain America: Brave New World]

Title: I Don't Wanna Go Back to the Lonely Life

Pairing: Sam Wilson X Eternal!Reader

Word Count: 3,541 words

Warning(s): canon-typical violence, hospitalized character, argument, angst but ends with fluff

Summary: A being whose fate is tied to destruction meets a good man. A good man who wants nothing more than to offer love that said being can't accept. Or simply refuses to. Both are left to question how much they value happiness when they know tragedy is guaranteed.

Author's Note: Not gonna lie, I used Hadestown for the lyrics because this story feels like it has similar vibes, if that makes sense at all.

Also, I have fallen in love with writing Eternal!Reader stuff. I don't give them a name, I just kinda take the powers. I also ignore the movie's ending because I can. I have like three more in the notes app on my phone lol

-----------------------

Sam had a habit.

A habit that seemed to constantly teeter on the edge of bugging the shit out of me and being my favorite thing about him.

Sam always looked at me a little too closely. He could always see when something was wrong, predict my emotions almost better than I could. It was honestly, a little spooky at times.

It made me much more appreciative of the times when he couldn't see my face.

Love Was a Myth, Now It's My Morning Coffee - Yelena Belova Imagine [Marvel | Thunderbolts*]

Title: Love Was a Myth, Now It's My Morning Coffee

Pairing: Yelena Belova X Healer!Reader

Word Count: 1,703 words

Warning(s): brief mention of a kidnapping, brief mention of injury/blood, pretty much pure fluff

Summary: [Inspired by "Audrey Hepburn" by Maisie Peters] Yelena visits an old friend after a particularly rough mission. There are discussions of the present and the future and what is valued above everything else.

Author's Note: Tried to write this in a way that could be read as either platonic or romantic because we need to all tell our friends we love them more. Remember how important platonic love is.

Also, fun fact, this was going to be a Clark Kent imagine.

------------------------

Yelena wasn't supposed to come to me after missions.

Not anymore. Not since she had joined up with the New Avengers or the Thunderbolts or whatever they were called.

Val had given all of them rules. About as many rules as she could get away with considering all of the shit that team had on them.

One of Yelena's rules was very clear: no more (Y/n).

The Importance of a Steady Hand - Matt Murdock Imagine [Marvel | Daredevil]

Title: The Importance of a Steady Hand

Pairing: Matt Murdock X Reader

Word Count: 5,691 words

Warning(s): description of touch starvation, depiction of loneliness, brief mention of Matt being catholic

Summary: Karen makes an attempt at a new friendship. That attempt ends up placing (Y/n) and Matt on something of a collision course. The collision course could be a step in a good direction for both of them. Or it could be exactly what it sounds like: a devastating crash waiting to happen.

Author's Note: I genuinely cannot think of a time I was this attracted to a fictional character, and I hate him for it. Anyway. I don't have a solid place in the timeline for when this takes place.

------------------------

Karen Page must have had a thing for lost causes.

That was the first thing I thought when she offered to take me out to lunch to "welcome me to the city".

She was a sweet lady. She clearly wanted to do some kind of good and hated the idea of leaving someone on their own. I couldn't fault her for being kind.

Tense - Benjamin "Dex" Pointdexter Imagine [Marvel | Daredevil]

Title: Tense

Pairing: Benjamin "Dex" Pointdexter X Reader

Word Count: 2,289 words

Warning(s): dex is probably a little out of character, the rest is still fluff

Summary: (Y/n) tries to help Dex after a long day at work. Poor comforting skills met with a wall of a man doesn't leave many options left. However, a good effort might be enough to salvage the night for both of them.

Author's Note: Started Daredevil with zero knowledge of this man, saw him kill a bunch of people, watched him have a breakdown, and then immediately opened tumblr. It feels almost nostalgic to go through that process, not gonna lie.

I also have some more plot-connected stuff planned. I know I say that a lot, but this one is actually in my drafts. I just wanted to get something cute out before I make people sad or angry.

--------------------

I could sense that something was wrong as soon as I made it to the hallway towards Dex's apartment.

It was as if the stress he was carrying was so strong that it was clinging to the walls or the carpet. Like the smell of too strong cologne or when someone tracked in dog shit without knowing it.

Unlocking the door felt like poking at a balloon with a knife. Like I knew something was going to happen, but I had no idea when. And that it felt like I was going to be the reason it all went wrong.

Dex was at the dining table. He had taken his blazer off and rolled his sleeves up a bit. A relaxed look but he was clearly anything but relaxed. His shoulders were almost by his ears. His breathing was awkward as he seemed to be attempting to level the rhythm, but it wasn't working.

"Hey," I said softly. He wouldn't look at me. Shit.

Three Song Series: Noah Kahan + John Walker [Marvel | The Falcon & the Winter Soldier]

Title: Three Song Series: Noah Kahan + John Walker

Pairing: John Walker X Reader

Word Count: 5,095 words

Warning(s): brief mention of violence (no gore/blood), argument, olivia erasure (i love her and i'm sorry), small implication about sex (literally one joke but it's fine)

Summary: Three Noah Kahan songs that would describe a relationship with John Walker. The songs included are "New Perspective", "Mess", and "Strawberry Wine".

Author's Note: This was going to be an apology for this imagine but this ended up a little too sad, so I'll keep trying.

-----------------------

New Perspective

You and all of your new perspective now  Wish I could shut it in a closet  And drag you back down

Right Person, Wrong Time - Loki Laufeyson Imagine [Marvel | Loki]

Title: Right Person, Wrong Time

Pairing: Loki Laufeyson X Reader

Word Count: 6,973 words

Warning(s): not canon compliant (not intentionally, at least), occurrences of violence, mentions of major character death, minor mentions of torture/previous captivity/past trauma

Summary: The TVA could be a tricky place. A place where time isn't as simple as cause and effect. Loki meets someone who should want to kill him but is instead met with tears and grief. That person expects hope and is met with more heartbreak than before. This had to be an example of cruel and unusual punishment.

Author's Note: I had this idea back when the Loki show first came out but I didn't know if it'd actually work with the show's whole canon because my only exposure had been through edits. Now that I've seen it, I think it does.

Don't ask me where in season one this goes. I don't really know because I mixed a lot of plot points around so my story would work better.

I'm also totally willing to write a sequel and a prequel to this, if that's something that interests anyone.

-------------------------

When I first met Thor Odinson, I was nothing more than a scared thing.

Someone who had known nothing but the dark walls of a cage.

He was nothing more than a cocky prince with little concept of how inflated his ego was.

Everything leading to us had felt like fate. I was freed in a brief moment of clarity from a heartless killer. He was exiled to Earth of all places. We ended up crossing paths.

He didn't seem to care much for me. I couldn't blame him. I wasn't exactly personable.

Still, he brought me comfort... in his own way. He never meant to. He merely made me feel like what I could do was more beautiful than it was simply destructive. I begged him to let me go with him when he left Earth. He let me.

Sing of What's Lost to You; Of Times That You Never Knew - James "Bucky" Barnes Imagine [Marvel]

Title: Sing of What's Lost to You; Of Times That You Never Knew

Pairing: James "Bucky" Barnes X Reader | mention of John Walker X Reader

Word Count: 13,508 (help, this got so out of hand)

Warning(s): memory loss, manipulation (best word for it), grief, insecurities, break up/unhealthy relationship, mention of major character death (please let me know if I missed anything)

Summary: [Post-Thunderbolts*] (Y/n) woke up with no memory in a place they couldn't recognize. They're left as a blank slate surrounded by a group that seems to care deeply about them. Some try to bring back as much as possible, some try to hide what could be too harmful, and some avoid the problem entirely. (Y/n)'s desperate search for their own past leads them through their biggest wins, worst losses, and everything in between.

Author's Note: Okay. A few things. First, I haven't seen Thunderbolts*, but I needed a character that I could believe would think a certain way who was in proximity to Bucky (I'm going off of edits and vibes). Second, this story is kinda inspired by Next to Normal, which will make sense as you read, I hope.

This also might be the best time to say that the final reason I committed to watching through the MCU is because of an edit of Steve and Bucky set to "Aftershocks" from Next to Normal.

-----------------------

There were few experiences more terrifying than waking up to six strangers staring at you.

Except when the situation happens and you're in a hospital bed in a place that could've been a hospital if it hadn't been just a little too high tech.

I woke up slowly, as if it were any other morning. I blinked sleep out of my eyes, going to run my hands down my face only to stop short. One reason was because I realized that I was not in a place that I knew at all and the other reason was because one of my hands were being held by a man that I did not recognize.

I slowly processed everything else. The group of people, the medical equipment, the feeling of a needle in my arm. Everything unfamiliar and overwhelming. I felt like a fish flopping on land while people just watched.

"(Y/n)!"

I'm Freaking Out Thinkin' 'bout How Bad I Need You - Natasha Romanoff Imagine [Marvel | Black Widow]

Title: I'm Freaking Out Thinkin' 'bout How Bad I Need You

Pairing: Natasha Romanoff X Reader

Word Count: 3,267 words

Warning(s): a lot of flirting, quite a bit of kissing, a little bit of insecurity... and the presence of a drunk character (that one kinda ruined my perfect triplet)

Summary: Natasha takes a lot of joy in teasing a computer genius that she works with frequently. When the normally easily flustered hacker has a random spell of confidence, things between them change completely. And it's only a surprise to one of them.

Author's Note: There's not a particular song that inspired this, but I was listening to the new Renee Rapp album on repeat when I got the idea, hence the title.

Also, don't ask me when this takes place. I have no idea.

---------------------

It was almost suspicious how often I ended up working with Natasha Romanoff on missions.

It seemed to be that whenever I ended up putting in my earpiece, she was on the other end of it.

Not that I was complaining. Natasha was good company. Funny and charming and smarter than hell. It was hard to not be a little bit excited when she greeted me before a mission.

Nothing's Even Compared to You Next to Me - James "Bucky" Barnes Imagine [Marvel | Falcon & the Winter Soldier]

Title: Nothing's Even Compared to You Next to Me

Pairing: James "Bucky" Barnes X Reader

Based On: Next to Me

Word Count: 1,529 words

Warning(s): mentions of trauma/trauma responses (nightmares, death)

Summary: Flag Smashers gone- for now, at least- and Sam becoming the new face of hope leaves an opening for important conversations and maybe even a few steps forward.

Author's Note: I wrote this whole series backwards.

Part One of "October" [Release Date: 8/9/2025]

Part Two of "October" [Release Date: 8/11/2025]

----------------------

I was surprised when Sam called me to join him and his family for a big celebration.

I had originally planned to just go back to my normal life from before the Flag Smashers popped up. Before John's controversy as Captain America. Before I had been forced to face Bucky after he had broken my heart.

I don't know why I went. Not fully. I mean, I love Sam, but he was always closer to Bucky.

Hello Marvel Fans!

Hi! How are you? How's it going?

So, recently, I have properly committed to writing fanfiction for different Marvel characters. I thought that now would be a good time to ask what characters people actually want to see. This can be just some of your favs or characters that you think are particularly underrated in the fanfiction realm. Go ahead and send them my way.

It is important to note that this is inspired by me doing my first ever watch through of the MCU. I'm basically watching everything that is sorted as being part of the main "phases" (I hope that makes sense).

Anyway, send the suggestions in, I'd love to see them. Thank you!
