isnt it really, really interesting that we dont know this? this wouldnt be notable if we didnt know, explicitly, that miquella (whose hair is NOT red) is the only child with a deliberately described positive relationship with radagon. radahn only mentions that he was "born a champion's cub" but evidently relates more to the "lord of the battlefield" now that he's a "lion". the other kids dont give a fuck at all.

miquella and radagon traded spells as gifts to one another (x x) but there is never any mention of miquella's relationship with marika (except how he deliberately echoes her own ascension to godhood) and no mention of malenia's feelings toward radagon or marika. very messy, it seems.

the thing about maxine is that she thinks everything she does is cool but sometimes her reflexes are fucking insane. like grabbing a bird out of the air or a baseball coming at her without blinking

despite being a (faithful to the original) re-write, i think the first few chapters are not really representative of the rest of my webcomic, but do a decent job establishing the barest character relationships and the world/tone. book 2 is where i think it starts to find its legs
