pointed this out in the discord, but also wanted to post it here:
in the interview with Amy Parris about the costumes setting in s5 there's this line which i'm taking as kind of confirming the Starcourt Mall really isn't working anymore (around 6.50min) "the mall's broken"
which was kind of obvious after the fire in s3, but also wtf were all those WSQK Starcourt Mall ads, which were presenting it on the radio as if it was still open? what timeline does the Squawk takes place in actually??
LETS GO
You know as much as I love s3 and 4 of stranger things I feel like they should have stopped at season 2 or even 3.
Like with the boys finale and the fall off of season 5 I feel like the Alex Hirsch approach to storytelling should have been applied.
Have the objectives and superobjectives not be drawn out for the sake of quality
Itโs why I think gravity falls is way better in comparison to a longer drawn out show.
As Alex Hirsch puts it his show is
Ultimately not about codes or secrets itโs about characters.
Thatโs strengthened by the fact it is only two seasons as a creative choice by Hirsch.
