if you are shocked and horrified by patricia taxxon's banning and her treatment, the action you can take right now is to ask yourself if there are any other people whose continued harassment and stalking you are, passively or actively, participating in. are you following a drama blog? a drama channel? is there a "fucked up and dangerous" internet creator whose personal life you're deeply aware of, despite their wishes? fucking stop. cut that shit out of your life. block the drama account. unfollow. disengage. it does not matter what they've done (let's be real, what she's done), them being constantly stalked and harassed is not making anything better.

i do hope that this is redundant information for people who are already following me, but i do hope this post is spread enough that the people who need to see it do.

P.T is a PlayStation 4 Exclusive horror game about repeatedly walking through the same hallway that became impossible to play after it was delisted from the PS4 store, being digital only and unable to re-install if you had previously purchased it. It was beloved and acclaimed when available and its ultimate fate turned it into a cautionary tale about the unreliability of digital-only gaming and the importance of having a physical thing you can rely upon to enjoy a work of art and entertainment.

On an unrelated note: PlayStation is going full-digital and joining the corporations attempting to kill physical media to price gouge consumers and gain a greater amount of control over their products to the detriment of the customer.

PT was a demo and it was delisted because the game was cancelled by the publisher. People created an emulator for this demo ages ago, you can still play it

If gamers cared so much about physical games then they should actually buy them - 85% of games are sold digitally on PlayStation.

P.T’s fan-preservation only shows the failings and impermanence of digital exclusive distribution. The only way to play P.T today is through REMAKES, they’re not the original

The Insomniac leak shows that people prefer to buy physically WHEN GIVEN THE OPTION. The higher percentage of Digital Sales is because there are tons of games that don’t have any physical release

The biggest bullshit with Adultism is basically that the people will defend it with: "Well, if we did not force X on kids, kids would not do it, because they hate X."

And then you actually look onto the research.

Kids do not generally hate learning or school. Quite the opposite. Children tend to enjoy learning and are naturally curious. It is exactly the fact that they are forced into school and into the rigid structure of it that often punishes curiosity but also is hostile towards the differences inherent in people, that kids hate it.

Kids do not naturally hate medical care. While medical care is scary at times, the fear usually comes from medical care scenarios being defined by adults overriding a child's agency, not explaining things to him, and otherwise being abusive, that makes children afraid of medical procedures. Additionally the way a lot of medical procedures go hand in hand with denying a child's reality ("Look, it is not that bad") tends to be traumatizing to children.

There have been studies done in this. If you explain a child - even a toddler - what you do and why, children will generally be a lot more okay with stuff like needles and simple procedures, and will even agree to necessary surgical interventions.

If you create a learning environment that allows more for self-directed learning, and involves less specific testing, most kids actually will enjoy learning.

The way kids hate school, and are afraid of doctors is the result of those interactions being associated with violence and coercion. The hatred is because of the coercion, rather than the hatred making the coercion necessary.

A young Black boy was killed by police in Austin, TX yesterday. He was killed over a water bottle in his waistband assumed to be a gun. They’re trying to call this killing a “suicide by cop” since the young boy was the same person who called the cops, but I think we all know how fucking ludicrous that sounds. His name has yet to be released
